Trump Officially Accepts Luxury Plane as Gift From Qatar

The United States has officially accepted a Boeing 747 jet gifted by Qatar for use as Air Force One, the Department of Defense confirmed on Wednesday.

The luxury plane, worth $400 million, was gifted to U.S. President Donald Trump as his official plane. Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell said the Defense Department will work to update the plane for use as the president’s official jet, ensuring it meets necessary standards.

Congress has to approve all gifts to elected officials, according to the Foreign Emoluments Clause. However, the gift is to the government itself rather than an individual, so it seems that clause does not apply. Congress has not been asked to sign off on the deal.

Strings attached: When President Trump confirmed rumors that Qatar had gifted him a luxury jet on May 11 during his tour of various Middle Eastern nations, he emphasized that it was “free of charge” and would speed up the U.S.’s acquisition of a new plane to replace the current aging Air Force One.

Many Americans, Republican and Democrat alike, decried the “gift” as an overt bribe by Qatari officials looking to curry favor with Trump.

Numerous Trump administration officials have documented links to Qatar and its generous funding, including Attorney General Pam Bondi, fbi Director Kash Patel and special envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff.

Bad actor: Qatar is thoroughly documented as funding and harboring violent Islamic terrorist organizations, including al Qaeda and Hamas. It provides significant funding for these groups—as much as $30 million per month. It also spends lavishly to fill U.S. universities with anti-Israel and pro-Islamist ideology.

Even as President Trump fights Hamas, the Houthis and other terrorist organizations in the Middle East, he is publicly accepting luxurious gifts from one of the world’s worst sponsors of terrorism. Bible prophecy shows that this is heading toward a grim outcome.
