Man Arrested for Threatening Supreme Court
Authorities arrested a man in Anchorage, Alaska, for allegedly threatening to torture and kill six Supreme Court justices and some of their family members, the Department of Justice announced Thursday.
Details: Panos Anastasiou, 76, allegedly sent more than 465 messages to the Supreme Court from March 10, 2023, to July 16, 2024, through a public website the court maintains. The indictment against Anastasiou says these messages contained threats to assassinate six justices via torture, firearms and hanging in retaliation for decisions he disagreed with.
Which justices? The announcement does not specify which justices were under threat, but Anastasiou’s history indicates who they could be. He previously threatened to kill a “convicted criminal” former president, which could only be Donald Trump.
- Other posts show that Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito (both conservative) were among Anastasiou’s alleged targets.
- The Republican-Democrat split in the court is 6–3.
It seems Anastasiou wanted to kill Trump and the justices closest to him.
Prophesied attack: The Bible prophesies that Trump will face relentless attacks and the Supreme Court will be a major ally. This story aligns with both prophecies.
