The Guttenbergs Return to Germany’s Limelight

Back on covers, tv shows and red carpets—the Guttenbergs are rewinning Germany. In 2010, Germany’s prestigious magazine Der Spiegel put them on the cover writing: “The fabulous Guttenbergs: Pair run to the chancellor’s office.” Twelve years later, they are doing it again: Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg and his wife, Stephanie, are starting an extensive media comeback.

Most remarkable about this comeback is that our editor in chief, Gerald Flurry, has predicted Guttenberg’s return for over a decade based on numerous Bible prophecies.

Media attention: “The Guttenbergs are making a fresh start, and not just professionally. They are back on the society stage and welcome guests at aristocratic weddings and exclusive events,” Germany’s Bunte magazine wrote on July 6 in “The Former Dream Couple of Society Pushes Back Into the Limelight.” On July 31, it wrote, “Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg and his wife visited the Salzburg Festival. The dream couple was a real eye-catcher there” (“Back in the Spotlight: At the Festival, They Are the Center of Attention”).

Just last month Stephanie zu Guttenberg’s book titled We Can Do Better! Upbringing, Education and Living in Digital Reality was published in German urging the digitalization of the German school system. A few days ago she was greatly welcomed to the ndr Talk Show discussing this topic. On LinkedIn, her husband congratulated her saying: “Well done, Steph!” In an interview with Bunte she said: “I have learned to get back up after crises.”

TV personality: While Stephanie is already working for vox in the tv business, Karl-Theodor is now starting his own media campaign with rtl. The first episode of his docutainment series will be streamed on November 30 featuring the power politics of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

For his first presentation, Guttenberg traveled the world and Ukraine in particular. He interviewed Marina Litvinenko, whose husband Alexander Walterovich Litvinenko was poisoned after criticizing Putin’s policies; the former chess world champion and Putin critic Garry Kasparov; the former oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky, who dared accuse the Russian president of corruption; as well as a famous Russian rock band that opposes Putin and many more.

In 2016, Die Welt called Guttenberg a “talented orator who can cast a spell over people.” His return to the media limelight therefore needs to be closely watched.

A strong leader: In 2015, Mr. Flurry published A Strong German Leader Is Imminent, which reiterated his prophecy-based prediction that Guttenberg will not only return to politics but may soon become the most powerful leader in the world—leading a “United States of Europe.”

In 2019, Mr. Flurry stated: “A strong leader is prophesied in the Bible to rise in Europe very soon—perhaps even within months. I believe almost certainly that you can identify who this man will be. Only one man appears able to fulfill what the Bible says about this strongman. His name is Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg.”

Daniel 11:21 gives us a clue on how this man will come to power: “And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.”

We may now be seeing the beginning of a coordinated strategy to win back the hearts of the German people.
