Germany and Hypersonic Warfare

Beware! Germany is a country fertile in military surprises.’

Russia has reportedly used hypersonic missiles in its war against Ukraine. Now, according to n-tv.de, “Germany Also Wants Hypersonic Missiles” (Trumpet translation throughout). German defense politician Johann Wadephul told Welt on March 21, “The use of the hypersonic weapon is a real test before the eyes of the world and a signal to nato: ‘Don’t interfere, because we are in possession of weapons against which you can hardly defend yourselves.’ Unfortunately, this capability gap exists for nato, and we urgently need to close it.”

The Russian armed forces reported that the hypersonic missile Kinschal was used in Ukraine; if so, it would mark the first time hypersonic missiles have been used in warfare. Hypersonic missiles are much faster than conventional cruise missiles and can hardly be countered by defensive technology.

The United States, Russia and China are racing for new weapons technology. Germany is doing the same.

On June 7, 2019, Die Welt reported that the German military is developing hypersonic weapons that hit their target at five times the speed of sound. Sales manager Peter Heilmeier of the German defense company mbda said at the time that developing hypersonic weapons is necessary due to “threats of the concrete kind—keyword Putin’s missile or even the new Russian tank.” The simple principle, then, is to develop missiles that are “so fast that the protective systems of the Russian tank becomes too slow.” Heilmeier described the project as “purely defensive in nature” and discussed the possibility of incorporating a hypersonic missile into the air-defense system in the medium term.

mbda has long cooperated with the subsidiary Bayer Chemie. Bayer is a daughter company of IG Farben, a key company that enabled Adolf Hitler’s war. Today the company invests in “defensive” technology.

Guided hypersonic missiles potentially equipped with nuclear weapons may very well be part of a future world war described in Matthew 24 and various other prophetic passages. The Bible, however, reveals that the power historically known for starting two world wars will be the primary agitator.

Winston Churchill warned of this power in a 1934 speech, saying, “So far, I have dealt with what I believe is the known, but beyond the known there is also the unknown. We hear from all sides of an air development in Germany far in excess of anything which I have stated today. As to that, all I would say is, ‘Beware!’ Germany is a country fertile in military surprises.”

The world was surprised by Germany’s blitzkrieg warfare in World War ii. Will an even faster-paced war surprise the world again?

We are about to see military escalations. The world is watching Russia’s advances with great fear, but don’t be fooled: Germany’s militarization is not for defensive purposes only. Germany is preparing for a surprise attack. I encourage you to read Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry’s article “America Trusts Germany With Stealth Nuclear Fighters.” This article sounds a strong warning, but also gives hope for mankind thereafter.
