Our Awesome Universe Potential - Part 1

God used Gerald Flurry to raise up the Philadelphia Church of God, and shortly after that, we began to proclaim our message in January 1990. About four months later the Hubble Space Telescope was launched, and it created quite a sensation. Many scientists believed it was the greatest development in the last century. These two events—the raising up of the Philadelphia Church of God and the launching of the Hubble Space Telescope—we believe happened at the same time for a spectacular reason!

Prophesy Again: God’s Commission to His End-Time Church

The commission God has given to His Church in this age may even be beyond what our human minds can fully comprehend at this time! The mystery of God has to be declared today. But this work is also to teach all humanity that the mystery must be dispensed, or declared, to every person ever created. They must be taught not just the mystery, but taught to teach it. Why? Is it possible God will keep expanding His Family throughout the universe forever?

Our Awesome Universe Potential

The Hubble Space Telescope is one of the greatest developments of modern science. Human beings, made in the image and likeness of God, are probing deeply into the universe as never before observing the Creator’s handiwork. Those Hubble pictures should give this whole world a great deal more hope not only because those countless awesome galaxies point us to their Creator and His limitless power. It is also because, when understood according to the revelation in the Bible, they expand our understanding of the incredible human potential God has given us!
