Web Exclusive: Israelis Prepare for Possible Attack
Israelis crowded distribution centers on Thursday as thousands picked up gas masks and protective supplies in preparation for a potential conflict with Syria.
Spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said police officers were deployed to maintain order in the northern city of Haifa. More than 5,000 people in Haifa jostled in line at a sports arena as they waited for their protective kits.
Rising tension and long lines have led to some chaos. However, many Israelis fail to see the danger.

“Well, I am very philosophical about these issues, and I can’t really change what is going to happen, so I try not to worry.”

“Well, life goes on, everything is cool. The ocean is waiting for us and gas masks must wait. We have them at home, but life goes on.”
Yet, life will not continue on like normal as some think.
In a recent Key of David program, Gerald Flurry showed how the Syrian gas attack is only the beginning of wmd strikes.

“If the United States—and they’re going to intervene in Syria—but if they don’t do it with a devastating strategy (most of the experts believe), it’s actually going to cause the weapons of mass destruction to spread even more rapidly than what they are now, because the people who are getting into that see that they can get away with just about anything. And who else is going to try to stop them except the U.S.? Is there anybody else?
“Notice Matthew 24 and we’ll conclude there where it says, verse 6: ‘And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars.’ Verse 7: ‘For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in [different] places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.’ What you see in Syria, well, that’s just the beginning.”
