Week in Review: America Bows Out, Peace in Ukraine, Saudis Want Nukes, Catholics Unite

America is withdrawing. This is no surprise considering the debt and other problems brewing within the nation. But as the U.S. retreats from the world scene, who will take its place?

Despite flip-flopping peace negotiations, Russia conducted a deadly strike in the heart of Ukraine, close to the Poland border. Jeremiah Jacques explains how this, combined with the Ukraine corruption scandal, once again shows that peace is not around the corner. Also, China was caught red-handed with millions of dollars of shark fin contraband off the coast of Peru, showing that its quest for dominance is not limited to military and technology.

America’s withdrawal from the world has a massive impact on NATO, leaving a leadership void that needs to be filled. Host Richard Palmer highlights clips of Herbert W. Armstrong pointing to Germany filling that void. We now see this happening.

President Donald Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had a warm meeting at the White House with great fanfare. Is this another Abraham Accords moment? Mihailo Zekic points out how the Saudis want something for their cooperation: nukes. Is this really the path to eternal peace in the Middle East?

Finally, Andrew Miiller discusses the interesting trend of Anglican priests fleeing to Catholicism. This is particularly noticeable in England. The Bible prophesies that the Catholic Church will gather in her protesting daughters. In America, the Epstein files have officially been voted for release. Although this is important, Miiller highlights the immense amount of sex trafficking that still occurs daily.
