The Most Important Part of V-E Day

It is the 80th anniversary of victory in Europe. We remember the brave soldiers, the struggle against evil and the rallying of everyday people for a common cause. But there is an element of the history of V-E Day many have forgotten—God.

God saved Western civilization, and leaders, media and ordinary people joined in prayer to recognize the power of the Almighty. Mainstream newspapers and TV news paid tribute to the power of prayer in World War II.

Today however, society not only forgets God: It erases God from history.
