European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker delivered the annual State of the Union address yesterday. Juncker said that the “wind was back in Europe’s sails” and, now that Britain is gone, it’s time for Europe to knuckle down and forge a “United States of Europe.” Trumpet writer Brad Macdonald discusses Juncker’s speech, as well as America’s problem with self-righteousness, or, what he terms, “America’s Job complex.”

A new movie about Winston Churchill, Darkest Hour, is coming out in November. And judging by reviews from left-wing critics—that the movie “mostly plays as a rabble-rousing conservative fantasy in which it comes down to the powerful individual to single-handedly steer the course of history through his iron will”—it sounds like it might be pretty good! God used Winston Churchill to save Western civilization. Were it not for his powerful leadership and undeterred pursuit of victory, we wouldn’t have the freedoms we do today. The West desperately needs leaders like Churchill today. Sadly, all Britain and America can do is reminisce about the great leaders of history. Bible prophecy says America and Britain will experience a dearth of leadership just before their prophesied collapse. We discuss this and more on today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show.

It is clear that God is no longer blessing the nations of America and Britain. But Bible prophecy says God goes beyond just refusing to bless these nations—He actually has “a controversy” with them! (Hosea 4:1). God is cursing America and Britain. Why? After the Prophet Hosea was inspired to write that God has a “controversy” with our nations, he explained why: “[B]ecause there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood” (verses 1-2). Could there be a more accurate description of America and Britain today? On this episode of the Trumpet Daily Radio Show, we discuss why God is besetting our nations with so many curses.

After the Charlottesville, Virginia, tragedy in August, President Donald Trump and many in his administration prayed that God would heal America. Just days after their prayers, Hurricane Harvey hit Houston, inundating the city with water in what will likely be the most expensive national disaster in United States history. After Harvey, the Trump administration prayed again. President Trump even declared a national day of prayer in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. A few days later, Hurricane Irma, the strongest Atlantic hurricane ever recorded, hit the Caribbean and triggered a mass evacuation in Florida. Is God answering the prayers of America’s leaders? These events speak for themselves. The question now is, Why isn’t God blessing America? Why isn’t He healing our land? We answer these questions and more on today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show.

More and more people across America and Britain are identifying themselves as nonreligious. Several reports in recent weeks have highlighted a dramatic shift over recent decades away from religion to atheism and agnosticism. Those who continue to hold on to their religious views suffer from increased persecution from the major media. On today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show, we discuss true religion and the assault that is taking place against Christian values in America and Britain.

Once again, a record-breaking hurricane is heading toward the United States. Why is America being hit with these storms repeatedly? Can anything be done to stop them? Pope Francis arrived in Colombia yesterday for the first papal visit in over 30 years. Trumpet contributing editor Richard Palmer examines what is behind this visit and why this region is so essential to America. Booklets offered on today’s program include: Why ‘Natural’ Disasters? The Holy Roman Empire in Prophecy Jerusalem in Prophecy

Hurricane Irma appears to be on course to hit Florida over the weekend. It is the most powerful hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic Ocean. Is the United States about to suffer another major disaster just two weeks after Hurricane Harvey caused one of the most expensive catastrophes in U.S. history? What is the cause of these unprecedented storms? Could it really be man-made climate change as so many people believe? On today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show, we discuss the real cause of these natural disasters and explain the hope-filled message behind why they are happening.

There are two main schools of thought regarding life and death. In the religious sphere, there are variations of the immortal soul doctrine, which teaches that the dead are not really dead. Outside of religion, there is the idea that ignores God and assumes that death is the end. Both of these ideas are false. On today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show, we discuss what the Bible says happens after death, and we explain the inspiring plan that God has in store for every person who has ever lived.

Prophecy speaks of a utopian world on the horizon. But before it gets here, conditions on the planet will deteriorate as men fight and war, struggling with the curses God sends their way. His Church is charged with sharing this prophecy with the world. Hydrogen bomb explosions and natural disasters should actually sharpen our focus on how best to give to this world and what will have the most dramatic impact.

A lightning strike ignited a wildfire last Sunday that caused the main road to the Burning Man festival to be closed down. Revellers, eager to begin their festival, dismissed the fire as a mere coincidence. What goes on at this festival is abominable. Yet tens of thousands of people journey out to the middle of the desert every year to engage in gross acts of immorality. The ancient cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were just as proud of their rebellion against God’s law—God razed those two cities with fire from heaven. God does not respond lightly to rebellion. God says He is going to punish the nations of America and Britain specifically for their rebellion against His law. On today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show, we discuss how God responds to people who celebrate sin.
