Iran Scouts Strategic Soft Targets in Europe
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad warned Europe in October that if a Middle Eastern conflict erupted, America was too far away for Iran to attack, but the Continent “may get hurt.” According to a recent European security report, he is beginning to put action behind those words.
Security analyst Claude Moniquet says Iran is working on plans to attack targets on the Continent.
“We have serious signals that something is under preparation in Europe,” Moniquet said, speaking of Iranian surveillance. The president of the European Strategic Intelligence and Security Center (esisc) specifically highlighted an increase in the number of agents in Europe as well as reconnaissance of nuclear plants in Europe.
While Iran has no competitor for braggadocio on the world scene, it lags behind the West in military technology. But it is working to close the gap between talk and action. Iran is making its gambit very carefully, ensuring all the set-up is complete before moving toward its end-game.
In February, Iran announced a jury-rigged missile had touched the envelope of space. “This Iran space launch is not a threat to Israel,” said an Israeli security source. “The Iranians need not reach a space orbit to attack Israel, but such a high orbit would be needed to deliver a nuclear payload into Europe or the U.S.”
Couple this with Iran’s defiant nuclear program that has yet to be suspended and Moniquet’s report on Iranian intelligence-gathering, and one can begin to see the groundwork for an Iranian offensive directed toward the West. Considering such evidence, Europe shouldn’t dismiss Ahmadinejad’s warning as mere bluster.
Millennia ago, the Prophet Daniel spoke of a “king of the south” that would “push” at a “king of the north.” That end-time prophecy is playing out in real time in Iran’s increasingly belligerent provocations of Europe. Star witness: the esisc report. Iran is preparing for an attack on Europe. Read our booklet The King of the South to see how Daniel’s prophecy will play out.
