No Justice in the Land

No Justice in the Land

The files prove Biden’s fbi tracked Trump’s wife and son. So why is no one going to prison?

Last week, the White House released files showing that Joe Biden’s fbi unlawfully tracked the travel of Melania Trump and her son, Barron, while it planned its raid on the Trump home at Mar-a-Lago. Two days later, President Donald Trump told reporters he would do nothing about it.

This means not only are our top law enforcers abusing their power but the nation’s top law enforcer is declining to enforce the laws that protect against those abuses.

In March 2022, fbi Director Christopher Wray asked Attorney General Merrick Garland to sign off on a full-scale sensitive investigation into Donald Trump. Garland approved.

A document from May 2022 told agents to “finalize fbi understanding of fpotus/flotus/minor son’s travel.” Then, from February to May 2023, investigators logged the telephone activity of Susie Wiles, who was Trump’s co-campaign manager and is now his chief of staff. They mapped her contacts with at least 21 Trump defense lawyers, campaign aides and advisers, and at least five journalists. They tracked her calls before, during and after her interview with prosecutors from Special Counsel Jack Smith. The same inquiry gathered phone records tied to Republican senators.

Neither Donald nor Melania nor Barron Trump were guilty of any crimes. The fbi knew how bad such surveillance would look. Wray’s memo flagged matters “that could potentially be disruptive to the democratic process if publicly disclosed prior to an election.” This shows Wray was not worried about breaking the law; he was worried about getting caught spying on an innocent candidate and his family before an election.

This was not an isolated incident. Do you remember the two impeachments, the raid itself, the staged photo of documents spread across the floor, the indictments meant to send Trump away for life, the efforts to bankrupt him and strike him from the ballot? When none of it worked, a gunman nearly killed Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania. Two months after that, another tried to kill him in Florida.

Yet no one has gone to prison!

Out of all the illegal conspiracies to stop Donald Trump, a grand total of one person has even been convicted of a crime (fbi lawyer Kevin Clinesmith)—and he served zero days in prison and didn’t even lose his law license.

President Trump called Smith “deranged” and called Garland’s prosecutors “thugs.” Then he said: “I could have done very bad things to Hillary Clinton. I could have done very, very bad things to Joe Biden. I could have done very bad things to Barack Hussein Obama. I thought it was inappropriate to do so because you have to treat the office of the presidency with respect. I view the presidency as a very sacred position.”

He said people have told him, Let’s go get them, and he answered, You can’t do that to the presidency.

That is not respect for the presidency. That is weakness.

God says, “None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies …” (Isaiah 59:4).

That is God’s assessment of our leaders today.

My father, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry, writes in The God Family Vision that even people who say they believe the Bible don’t like to think about a God of judgment. They like to think of Him only as a God of peace, joy and blessings. But the Bible shows that God gives not only His mercy but also strict judgment and punishing correction.

The Prophet Malachi exposes exactly where this leads: “Ye have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?” (Malachi 2:17).

We weary God when we call evil good. We weary Him when we let evil go unpunished.

What happened in Butler is a picture of the whole nation. After July 13, 2024, every one talked about God. Trump himself wrote that it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable. My father wrote that Trump was alive because of an unscripted moment when he turned to look at a chart, because a gust of wind shifted that bullet about an inch, and because he cocked his head at the perfect angle at the perfect moment—God was in the details!

One of our staff members recently visited that site. There is no monument there. A new metal building now stands right where the stage was. And two years later, we still know almost nothing about the shooter, Thomas Crooks, who was killed by countersnipers and apparently took his secrets to the grave permanently. No one in the news media—a profession where your entire purpose is to find out and share important information that wouldn’t otherwise be shared—even acts like they want to know. That Butler field should point to the great God who intervened. Instead, it functions as a monument to injustice.

How quickly we forget. If God saved Donald Trump, then why aren’t we asking what God thinks? He thinks our nation is sick from head to toe! Look through the cracks in the walls of Washington, D.C., and you see what Ezekiel saw when he looked through a hole in the wall at God’s temple. God told him in Ezekiel 8:9: “Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.” Like the ancient King Jeroboam ii, President Trump recognized the evil. But exposing evil is not judging, punishing or preventing it. He had an opportunity to execute righteous judgment and go down in history for it, but he let it pass.

God returned Trump to the White House to give America a temporary reprieve, but the nation has not repented of its sins.

A man is not the solution. A political party is not the solution. The only office that truly is sacred is the one God Himself established: the throne of David. And Jesus Christ is coming to sit on it. “Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. …” (Isaiah 9:7).

The world has rejected the God of judgment. But as my father wrote, the God of judgment will return and deal with this world and its rebellion—and He will come suddenly.
