Six years ago, Fox News host Tucker Carlson sat down with Tony Bobulinski, a former business partner of Hunter Biden. In that landmark interview, Bobulinski corroborated key e-mails recovered from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop and stated that a proposed 10 percent equity stake for the “Big Guy” in a Chinese business deal referred to Joe Biden. That interview helped bring national attention to the laptop’s contents and the questions they raised about the Biden family’s foreign business dealings, not to mention other business-related crimes, drug-related crimes and sex-related crimes.

This was a big story. But a lot of Americans didn’t hear about it, or didn’t know if it was true, because the contents of the Hunter Biden laptop—and the fact that it was actually Hunter Biden’s laptop—were actively suppressed by the media. The New York Post broke the story on Oct. 14, 2020, but media executives at abc, cbs, msnbc, nbc, the New York Times and other mainstream news corporations delayed detailed coverage and questioned the credibility of the allegations. Five days later, 51 former senior intelligence officials, including the top spies from the Obama presidency published a joint statement in Politico and elsewhere labeling the entire story as a “Russian information operation.”

There was, after all, a presidential election coming up in three weeks.

The conservative Media Research Center later estimated that one in six Biden voters would not have voted for Hunter’s father if they had known about scandals suppressed by the media.

The research group Marco Polo later compiled roughly 630 pages of detailed analysis of the laptop, documenting alleged activities that included procuring sexual services from prostitution rings and pressuring staffers into sexual encounters. The report chronicles 459 purported violations of state and federal law.

Tucker Carlson, a Fox News host and the most-watched man on cable news at the time, was one of the few strong voices who made sure everyday Americans heard about Hunter Biden’s laptop and what it revealed about the Biden family and the man who could become president. He wasn’t even cowed by the 51-spy letter that tried to paint people who talked about the laptop as witting or unwitting assets of the Russians. He had the courage to directly accuse those powerful former intelligence officials—Brennan, Clapper, Panetta and dozens more—of lying to influence the election, remove Donald Trump and install a corrupted president.

The Tucker Carlson who courageously exposed the Biden crime family is gone.

Shortly before Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Kash Patel declassified information showing that informants had reported Biden corruption to the fbi, Carlson decided to interview Hunter Biden.

On August 10, Carlson sat down with Hunter and apologized for not showing more grace regarding Hunter’s heavy drug use. Then Carlson claimed that Israeli figures pushed the claims that material showing the sexual abuse of children had been found on the laptop. Finally, he sat silently as Hunter denied that he ever dropped his laptop off at a repair shop and claimed that a “Netanyahu operation center” was involved in distributing his personal files to influence U.S. politics.

You read that right! Hunter Biden’s own signature appears on the repair shop’s receipt. fbi geolocation data placed his cellphone near a cigar lounge around the corner from the shop minutes before the devices were dropped off, and federal prosecutors used that same location data in Hunter’s 2024 federal gun trial to establish the timeline. Yet he is now claiming the entire scandal is an Israeli disinformation campaign.

And that seems to be of particular interest to Carlson.

It is easy to understand why Hunter is making these claims. As New York Post columnist Miranda Devine noted, Hunter “shapeshifts to suit the proclivities of each interviewer.” He knows Carlson hates both Benjamin Netanyahu and the State of Israel, so he has shifted from blaming Russia for people knowing about his crimes to blaming Israel for people knowing about his crimes.

This is a man who will never take responsibility for what appear to be 128 documented drug crimes, 140 documented business crimes and 191 documented sex crimes. He has never shown any remorse for his sick lifestyle.

The fact that Carlson gave him a platform to spread these lies and lessen the impact of the fbi declassification is a real shock to many Americans. Everyone is wondering, Why is Tucker Carlson, of all people, helping Hunter Biden, of all people?

It just doesn’t make sense. It’s further damaging Carlson’s once-strong reputation, and to some degree he has to know that.

Carlson is showing himself overtly anti-Semitic. He has called Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “completely evil, completely destructive.” He said he dislikes Christian Zionists “more than anybody”; Christian Zionists believe that the Jewish people should have a nation of their own, like other ethnicities.

“Harsh criticism of Israel no longer comes only from the progressive wing of the Democratic Party, but has also gained a foothold in parts of the populist right and the ‘America First’ movement …,” the Jerusalem Post wrote on July 8. “Biden and Carlson are not political partners, and their agreement does not turn the two camps into one. But the moment in which the son of a former Democratic president and a star of the American right agree that Netanyahu is a legitimate target for the harshest criticism, and jointly reject the claim that such criticism is necessarily anti-Semitic, once again illustrates the extent to which negative attitudes toward Israel today cross the old dividing lines of American politics.”

It’s not just the Jerusalem Post that has taken notice. People throughout Israel, throughout American Christianity and throughout the American conservative movement have noticed that attacking Israel is no longer a radical Democrat strategy. Many American Christians and conservatives are turning against the Jewish state. Isaiah predicted this when he wrote, “Manasseh shall devour Ephraim, and Ephraim Manasseh; Together they shall be against Judah …” (Isaiah 9:21; New King James Version).

The ancient Israelite tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh have become Britain and America, respectively. This verse prophesies that the British and the Americans will turn against the Jews! A related prophecy in Hosea 11:12 says, “Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints.”

Verses like these show us that true Christians need a deeper understanding about the Jews’ role in God’s plan than the America-first conservatives and Christians have.

“We know the Jews, like all humans, have helped create some of their own problems,” my father writes in The Key of David. “But we must see that there is something deeper behind anti-Semitism. Satan the devil has a great hatred for God, and he understands the plan of God. Because of that plan, the word Jew can really stir up Satan’s wrath. The Jews are a type of what all men are to become spiritually. God’s association with the Jews has turned Satan even more violently against them! Hatred for the Jews has been inspired by Satan. He knows he was never offered what God has offered mankind. He wants nothing more than to destroy God’s plan.”

The fact that hatred for Israel is reconciling arch-conservatives to arch-leftists and pitting American Christians against other American Christians shows that something dark is happening in America—even after God checked the radical leftists’ immediate destruction of this nation by bringing back President Trump.

You need more than monologues from a cable news host; more than a set of principles that might or might not shift in the near future; more than Republican partisanship, actual conservatism, firm constitutionalism or even real patriotism—and yes, more than conflicted, self-contradictory American Christianity!
