Syria removed from state sponsors of terrorism list

Syria will be removed from the list of state sponsors of terrorism, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said yesterday. Syria has been on the list since 1979, longer than any other nation. This opens the door to diplomacy, foreign aid, trade and investment. Watch for Europe to build it into its alliance system.
