“London’s Jewish community is under attack, yet it feels as if nothing is being done,” one local Jew told the Telegraph. Clearly a lot of London’s Jews agree.

• “Keir Starmer, Jew-harmer,” chanted some of London’s Jews in the aftermath of yet another anti-Semitic terrorist attack.

This time, a 45-year-old Somalian immigrant was hunting for anyone who looked Jewish in the London neighborhood of Golders Green. He found two and stabbed them. Thankfully, he was then stopped, and both victims apparently will survive their injuries.

The attack threatens more than just those two men. Johnathan Hall, the government’s independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, called the escalating attacks a “massive national security emergency.” Other recent attacks include:

• April 28: A memorial wall for victims of the Oct. 7, 2023, attack was set on fire outside a Jewish center in Golders Green.
• April 19: A police patrol stopped an attempted “firebomb” attack on a synagogue in Harrow, northwest London. The same day, a Jewish-owned shop in Watford, just north of London, was set on fire, with anti-Semitic graffiti left behind.
• April 17: A man tried to start a fire outside a Jewish business in Hendon, North London.
• April 15: Two attackers threw bottles full of petrol at the Finchley Reform Synagogue in North London. (It failed to ignite.)
• March 23: Four ambulances run by Jewish volunteers were deliberately torched in Golders Green.

“I am not Jewish, but these are our people in our streets, in the city in which I live,” Suzanne Moore wrote in the Telegraph. “Today’s attack is utterly shaming and enraging, and the latest in a line of appalling anti-Semitic crimes.”

• One resident told the Telegraph, “We’re sitting ducks, because many of us are so visible as Jewish in our appearance.”

This isn’t only a problem of mass migration letting in unhinged people. This is a problem in the government, and it’s getting worse.

• Britain will hold local elections in some areas next week, and the Greens, an openly anti-Semitic party, are expected to achieve a massive breakthrough. Starmer has done little to address the problem because he knows that if he does, he’ll lose votes. In Birmingham, Britain’s second-largest city, one independent candidate is literally a convicted terrorist.

It’s a frightening warning for everyone about the state of society. Anti-Semitism is common and even acceptable in certain forms in polite society.

“The martyrdom of Jews in the 1940s would strip anti-Semitism [in Britain] of its respectability,” wrote William Manchester in The Last Lion, “but in the 1930s, it was a quite ordinary thing to see restaurants, hotels, clubs, beaches and residential neighborhoods barred to people with what were delicately called ‘dietary requirements.’ … Contempt for [Jews] was not considered bad form.”

“Satan can stir up vicious hatred,” Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry writes in his book The Key of David:

He loves to use out-of-control emotions. A religion taken to the extreme—such as radical Islam—gives him a great field to work in. Nazi Germany exhibited fanatical hatred for the Jews. The Nazis also used emotion to stir up a repugnant hatred. The coming beast power [a political-religious empire prophesied to arise in this end time] will exhibit the same hatred for the Jews as well.

Most people who hate the Jews don’t even know why they do. Can we see Satan behind such lies and hatred?

Iran War Update

• President Donald Trump rejected an Iranian deal yesterday for both sides to open the Strait of Hormuz and defer nuclear talks to a later date. He said his main goal is to end Iran’s nuclear program.
• The president will be briefed today on potential military action against Iran, according to Axios.
• President Trump told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to reduce his forcefulness against Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon, Axios reported yesterday. He said, “He has got to do it more surgically. Not knock down buildings.”

SCOTUS Rejects Race-Based Louisiana District

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 yesterday that Louisiana’s new congressional map—which created a second majority-black district in addition to the long-standing one—was an unconstitutional racial gerrymander.

• The court’s conservative majority held that race had been the predominant factor in drawing the district’s boundaries, violating the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment.

The case, Louisiana v. Callais, began after the 2020 census. A federal judge ruled that Louisiana’s original map likely violated Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 because it did not create a second majority-black district. When the state created one, that new map was challenged as an illegal use of race. The Supreme Court agreed with the challengers.

• In the majority opinion, Justice Samuel Alito wrote that while Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act aims to prevent discrimination, it cannot force states to engage in race-based drawing of voting districts that violates the Constitution’s Equal Protection Clause.
• The Supreme Court ruled that Louisiana’s attempt to satisfy the earlier court order resulted in such a racial gerrymander. The 6th District stretched more than 200 miles to link otherwise unrelated black-majority areas in Shreveport, Alexandria, Lafayette and Baton Rouge.

Liberal justices dissented. Justice Elena Kagan wrote that the decision “renders Section 2 all but a dead letter” and warned of far-reaching consequences for minority voting power.

• The ruling does not completely eliminate Section 2, but it sharply limits how race can be used in redistricting. Analysts say 12 to 19 Democrat-held districts were created in similar ways to the 6th District and could be subject to redistricting, potentially helping Republicans in future elections.
• Barack Obama criticized the ruling as “just one more example of how a majority of the current court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy.”

The truth is, the ruling disenfranchises no one. It ensures that communities vote together instead of pitting blacks in unrelated cities against their white neighbors.

During the height of the American civil rights movement, the late Herbert W. Armstrong warned about rising race problems in America. Basing his forecasts on Bible prophecies, he wrote in the October 1963 Plain Truth:

Make no mistake! This is no light matter to pass over casually! Race war is coming! Racial tensions, passions and hatreds are being deliberately stirred by organized planning.

The comments Obama and others are making about the Supreme Court are not intended to bring communities together but to stir up resentment in America between the races.

U.S. May Withdraw Troops From Germany

“The United States is studying and reviewing the possible reduction of troops in Germany, with a determination to be made over the next short period of time,” U.S. President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social yesterday.

• He was responding to an accusation by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz earlier this week that the U.S. lacks a clear strategy in Iran and has been “humiliated.”

America has built up Germany as a strategic hub for all of nato. The presence of American troops is estimated to bring in around $2-5 billion in spending, supports 60,000 to 80,000 jobs, relieves the need for Germany to spend as much on its military as it would otherwise need to, and provides an important counter to Russia.

• If President Trump follows through on his threat, the Germans would take a strategic and financial hit. But perhaps they don’t mind, because they are already ready for what comes next, and breaking with the U.S. is worth it.

President Trump has threatened to withdraw U.S. troops from Germany before, even in his first term, when he accused Germany of not contributing its fair share to nato.

• The president may think he is punishing Merz, but he forgets why the troops are there in the first place. It wasn’t just to deter the Soviets from invading. It was to ensure the demilitarization and denazification of Nazi Germany.

The German war machine is rapidly being rebuilt. The withdrawal of U.S. troops would turbocharge the process and signal a major break with America. There would be little to stop Germany from shifting its alliances and turning that war machine against America, just as Herbert W. Armstrong warned for decades.

Israel Risked Lives to Help Germany

Despite Israel’s shortage of interceptor missiles during its war with Iran, Israel continued to export its Arrow air-defense missiles to Germany, the Jerusalem Post reported Tuesday.

• The Post cited “some commentators” as claiming the decision cost five Israeli lives and hundreds of injuries. They noted two known occasions in which the less-capable David’s Sling air defense system was used rather than the Arrow system and mass casualty events resulted.

Israel’s decision to export air missiles to Germany, potentially even at the cost of its own citizens’ lives, shows how dependent Israel is on its fragile relationship with Germany.

• Germany is Israel’s second-largest weapons supplier, after the United States.
• The Arrow agreement with Germany is worth $6.7 billion, Israel’s single-largest weapons export deal. Struck in 2023 and expanded in 2024 and again in 2025, the deal gives Germany a completely new operational and strategic long-range, exo-atmospheric interception of ballistic missiles.

Even while under attack by Iranian missiles and drones, Israel was unwilling to risk its friendship with Germany, which has largely presented itself as one of Israel’s few remaining friends in the West.

• During the Gaza war in 2025, Germany was one of the last nations to place an embargo on Israel and the first to reverse that embargo three months later.
• The two also have a deep intelligence partnership.

Such reliance on Germany is dangerous. The Bible reveals that Germany is not Israel’s friend and never has been. Germany will monstrously betray Israel and is forming the capabilities and alliances to do so.

India to receive more Russian S-400 units: India will receive its fourth Russian S-400 system in mid-May and a fifth in November, the Hindustan Times reported on Tuesday. India’s military used the advanced air defense system in combat with Pakistan last year, and its successes prompted additional procurements. As India and Russia enhance cooperation, the stage is being set for India to join a biblically prophesied pan-Asian military alliance.

Palestinian Authority continues ‘pay to slay’: The Palestinian Authority has continued its policy of paying stipends to convicted terrorists and their families, the U.S. State Department confirmed Wednesday. Citing Israeli statistics and admissions from Palestinian officials, it claimed that the PA had paid $156 million through 2025 in what are effectively incentives to commit terrorism. The PA claimed early last year to have ended the system to avoid U.S. sanctions; its continuation is another indication that the organization is not a partner for peace.

Nigel Farage’s house was firebombed in early 2025, he said yesterday. He said an ignited incendiary device was pushed through his letterbox and that he found the damage when he returned home. The device had burned itself out before causing a large fire. The growing political violence in the UK and U.S. fulfills prophecies in the Bible.
