Somali pirates are back

On Thursday, pirates in the Red Sea area successfully hijacked a commercial vessel, the first hijacking in over 18 months and one of several attacks that occurred last week. Analysts fear this could indicate the growing influence of nonstate actors like al-Shabaab and the Houthis.
