Hasty endorsements of Kamala Harris angered Obama

Abc News’ Jonathan Karl’s upcoming book Retribution says former President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “privately agreed to abstain from making any endorsements” and that “the Obamas were not happy” when many influential Democrats—including Pelosi—endorsed Harris less than 24 hours after Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race in 2024. Obama reportedly responded to Pelosi’s endorsement with an angry phone call.
