North Korea to Send More Infantry to Russia

North Korea plans to send more infantry to Russia to help Moscow fight its war against Ukraine, South Korea’s National Intelligence Service said Thursday.

  • The new deployment is expected to begin in July or August.
  • North Korea also plans to send 25,000 workers to help Russians build Shahed-type attack drones to aid the war effort.
  • Besides providing manpower for Russia’s growing drone manufacturing, these workers will also provide Russian soldiers with improved technical knowhow on drone operations.

Since the start of Russia’s full-scale war on Ukraine, Moscow has launched 28,743 Shahed-type drones, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a speech on Tuesday. Many of these drones have targeted civilians, homes, schools and hospitals.

Friends in fight: North Korea has sent multiple thousands of troops to support Russian forces on the ground, and Russia has depended heavily on North Korean shipments of munitions and missiles.

In exchange, Russia is helping North Korea improve its space and missile technology.

Asia united: The Bible prophesies of a vast Asian alliance, headed by Russia and China, which will include smaller Asian countries such as North Korea. These nations will unite to face a growing European superpower. That is why the Trumpet closely watches the deepening relationship between Russia and North Korea.
