Professional anarchists are turning Los Angeles into a war zone, looting stores, torching cars, and launching coordinated attacks on law enforcement. In one particularly vicious attack, police officers trapped under an overpass were struck by rocks thrown by protesters from above. Elsewhere, rioters waved Mexican flags, Palestinian flags and Soviet flags even as they demanded, ironically, to stay in the United States.

These anarchists are protesting President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown, but the riots are not just a spontaneous response to an immigration raid at a hardware store.

An investigative report by @DataRepublican shows that the riots are well funded and well organized. The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights, which received tens of millions of dollars in government grants during the Biden administration, is the primary organizer of the protests. Many of the protest signs can be traced back to the Party for Socialism and Liberation, a faction that believes the free market must be overthrown by a violent revolution in order to establish socialism.

To maintain law and order in Los Angeles, President Trump sent 2,000 National Guard troops to help local law enforcement. Shockingly, he had to send these troops despite the objections of California Governor Gavin Newsom, who accused President Trump of trying to “manufacture a crisis.”

Former Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris also sided with the anarchists and accused the Trump administration of a “cruel, calculated agenda to spread panic and division.” A reporter at the Los Angeles affiliate of abc News expressed similar sentiments, warning that President Trump was about to “turn what is just a bunch of people having fun watching cars burn into a massive confrontation and altercation between officers and demonstrators.”

You read that right! A leftist reporter actually accused the president of the United States of spoiling people’s “fun watching cars burn.” What kind of deranged mind watches a group of Marxists burn police cars while waving Mexican flags and concludes that the problem is National Guard troops trying to protect people’s lives and property? The leftists siding with the anarchists against the Trump administration are proving to the world who they are. They’re not just the enemies of an enforcement action or a policy or a president or a party but of Western civilization! Like their radical cousins in the Party for Socialism and Liberation, Democrats are trying to tear down American civilization, violently if necessary, to replace it with socialism.

Last summer, my father, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry, warned that Barack Obama and Joe Biden were using illegal immigration to transform the United States into a socialist state. Specifically, he warned that Obama’s plan was to intentionally import “soldiers,” agents who can sow division, violence, terrorism, race war and civil war in America. President Trump sealed the U.S. southern border as soon as he took office, but most of the illegal immigrants who entered beforehand (including 10 million during Biden’s four years) are still here. President Trump is trying to deport them, but the riots in Los Angeles show that dealing with these migrants is not going to be easy.

“According to Dr. John C. Drew, a political scientist who knew Obama at Occidental, as early as 1980 Obama was predicting a violent people’s revolution against the American republic,” we wrote in the October issue of the Philadelphia Trumpet. “So his efforts to bring dissatisfied military-age men from around the world to the U.S. may be motivated by a truly sinister desire. Look how much damage a few thousand George Floyd rioters did in 2020. Imagine how much worse it would be if millions of illegal aliens revolted. America has entered a truly dangerous period in its nearly 250-year history.”

Regarding end-time Israel (the U.S. and Britain), Isaiah writes: “The ox knows its owner, and the ass its master’s crib; but Israel does not know, my people does not understand. … From the sole of the foot even to the head, there is no soundness in it, but bruises and sores and bleeding wounds; they are not pressed out, or bound up, or softened with oil. Your country lies desolate, your cities are burned with fire; in your very presence aliens devour your land; it is desolate, as overthrown by aliens” (Isaiah 1:3, 6-7; Revised Standard Version).

This verse shows us that conflicts between illegal immigrants and citizens are going to get worse, even with President Trump in power, unless the nation repents and turns to God. We already see Mexicans and Palestinians willing to burn police cars and cause injuries or worse to police officers in order to keep illegal aliens in the country while radical-left politicians and judges try to block every attempt President Trump makes to enforce the nation’s immigration laws.

America is in a serious crisis! President Trump has sealed the border, but he cannot heal the deep political division between red states and blue states. Only God can heal this division, but first all Americans need to understand why such deep political dysfunction afflicts the nation. Whether you are a Democrat or Republican, you need to recognize God’s warning and turn to the only hope left: repentance toward God!
