Russia Teaching Ukrainian Children to Hate Their Homeland
Russian authorities are intensifying efforts to militarize and politicize children against Ukraine in the occupied Ukrainian area of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, according to a May 5 statement by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
Fedorov reported that the Russian government is increasing spending by millions of rubles on the militarization of Ukrainian children in Russia-occupied territories.
- Construction has begun on a network of “military-patriotic” centers, which are effectively propaganda schools, indoctrinating children to hate Ukraine and teaching them Russian military strategy.
- The established Youth Army is another method the Russians are using to involve Ukrainian children in political activities and prepare them for war.
Pattern of abuse: In March, Ukrinform reported that Russia had forcibly recruited almost 60,000 Ukrainian children of the Luhansk region into youth organizations that prepare them to be soldiers for Russia.
War crime: Russia’s strategy of kidnapping children and brainwashing them to hate their homeland has been thoroughly proved and even boasted about on the Kremlin’s official website. This act constitutes genocide as defined by Article ii, Clause “e” of the Geneva Conventions. The International Criminal Court defines it as a war crime.
The actions of Russian President Vladimir Putin and his government are shocking, but biblical prophecy warned this end-time strongman would author stunning destruction.
