U.S. Anti-Semitism Breaks Record Fourth Year in a Row

Anti-Semitic crimes in the United States reached record-breaking levels for the fourth year in a row, a report released on Tuesday by the Anti-Defamation League (adl) said.

2024 saw 9,354 cases of harassment, vandalism and assault. This is the highest since the adl started tracking in 1979 and marks a 5 percent increase over 2023. This averaged to 25 targeted anti-Jewish crimes per day, more than one per hour.

One of the most alarming findings was a 21 percent rise in anti-Semitic assaults, with 196 recorded assaults targeting at least 250 individuals.

This horrifying level of anti-Semitism should never be accepted, and yet, as our data shows, it has become a persistent and grim reality for American Jewish communities. Jewish Americans continue to be harassed, assaulted and targeted for who they are on a daily basis and everywhere they go.

Anti-Israel: For the first time, the majority of all crimes were related to hatred for Israel or Zionism (58 percent), most of which took place at anti-Israel rallies.

  • These crimes increased the most on college campuses, jumping 84 percent over the previous year.

Anti-Semitism is also on the rise in Europe, especially in Germany and France.

Why anti-Semitism? Since Hamas invaded Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, radical Muslims and their supporters around the world have been emboldened in their hatred for Israel and Jews. Your Bible shows that Israel will soon become the central focus of world events, largely as a result of this intensifying hatred.
