U.S. Hospitals Ask Parents If Their Newborn Is Transgender
A questionnaire given to parents in New Jersey hospitals asks them to identify the sexual orientation and gender identity of their newborn baby, the New York Post reported on Saturday.
Options for completing the form include identifying a newborn as “transgender,” “gay” or “queer.”
- The form was produced by Inspira Health, a group that operates four hospitals and eight health centers across South Jersey.
- The group claims it created the form last year in adherence to a new state law requiring health-care providers “to collect race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender identity in a culturally competent and sensitive manner.”
Moral decline: The Bible reveals that unless America turns to God to raise strong, stable families, the nation will continue to be plagued by social and moral evils.
In his article “When Family Falls, Society Falls,” Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry wrote:
History shows that the strength of any nation depends on the strength of its families. Family is the rock-solid foundation on which a country’s superstructure is erected. That was the case for both America and Britain in their rise to greatness.
