EU Ordered to Buy European Weaponry

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen told members of the European Union on Tuesday to buy European arms instead of American.

Europe has historically relied on the United States for arms imports. From 2020 to 2024:

  • The U.S. supplied 64 percent of arms imports to European nations in nato.
  • France and South Korea, the next-largest sellers, only supplied 6.5 percent each.
  • Germany received 70 percent of its arms imports from the U.S.
  • Italy, Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands received over 90 percent.

Details: EU leaders signed a new €150 billion (us$163 billion) loan plan last week that will go toward defense spending. Von der Leyen said, “These loans should finance purchases from European producers to help boost our own defense industry.”

She told members to buy weapons in groups with other nations “because we have seen how powerful this can be.”

Prophesied betrayal: The Bible prophesies that Europe will fully break away from and betray the U.S. in the near future. The Continent will unite to become a military superpower much stronger than the U.S.
