Cyprus Gets Its Own Iron Dome
Cyprus’s Barak MX antiaircraft defense system, or Iron Dome, is now fully operational, KNews reported on March 7.
Upgrade: According to KNews, the Barak MX system, developed by Israeli Aerospace Industries, is a “major upgrade” to Israel’s Iron Dome. It is more “sophisticated” and has “the ability to launch and track multiple guided missiles simultaneously.”
With these capabilities, the Barak system can effectively create a no-fly zone over Cyprus, “locking” the Nicosia fir (Flight Information Region), ensuring that any air threats are quickly neutralized.

Intelligence sharing: While this upgrade enhances Cyprus’s ability to defend itself and the surrounding region, it weakens Israel’s. Israel is sharing a significant piece of defense intelligence with a European country tied to Germany.
Betrayal: Bible prophecy says Germany will soon lead a united Europe to dominate the Middle East and conquer Jerusalem. Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry has highlighted how Cyprus’s strategic position could play a major role in these prophecies. (Read “As You Watch Gaza—Watch Germany.”)
Any intelligence Israel shares with Europe, particularly Germany, will be detrimental.
