Report: Russia Continues Fighting Thanks to China
Russia can continue its war on Ukraine and its aggression toward Europe because of China’s direct support, Finnish civil intelligence agency Supo reported in its national security review on March 4.
A year ago, Supo speculated that China was supporting Russia “cautiously” through trade—it now says China’s support of the Russian arms industry is direct.
Economic support: “Russia’s economic dependence on China has also increased,” the security agency wrote.
Over the past few years, China has purchased more of Russia’s crude oil, lessening the effect of Western sanctions. China also sells increasing numbers of electronic integrated circuits and semiconductors to Russia after Western companies refused to supply them to Russia.
Military components: The report says that the Russian military industry is highly dependent on components from China, especially microchips.
A recent Estonian foreign intelligence report said 80 percent of components used to produce Russia’s military drones come from China.
Arctic cooperation: China also supports Russia through cooperation in the Arctic, the report said.
The Arctic has plentiful reserves of valuable natural resources such as oil, gas and precious minerals that both China and Russia are eager to obtain. Russia has over 50 icebreakers in the Arctic, and China has five.
Prophesied alliance: The Bible prophesies that Russia-China ties will continue to strengthen and they will soon head a massive bloc of Asian nations. This alliance will form the largest military force in history and play a major role in end-time events.
