Russian Forces Breaking Through in Donetsk
Russian forces have made significant advances in the Donetsk region, the Deep State Telegram account reported on August 5. “The enemy seems to have broken through the chain,” the channel, which tracks live developments in the war, warned on Sunday.
The Russian Army has advanced westward toward Pokrovsk, which is an important hub for Ukrainian forces in the Donbas. Conquering this strategic location would be a massive victory for Russia.
Russia is also pushing back Ukraine’s line of defense around the city of Toretsk, which is still under Ukrainian control but has been almost completely destroyed by Russian bombs. Russian troops have also advanced several kilometers southwest of the nearby town Zalizne toward Niu-York.
If Russians continue to advance at this pace, Ukraine’s forces will soon have to retreat from these long-held fortified positions.
Slow but sure: War has been waging for almost 2½ years, and Russian progress has been far slower than expected. But in recent weeks Deep State has reported consistent Russian progress in a 100-kilometer arc around Avdiivka, a crucial city Russia captured this February.
The Russians are not piercing our defense; they are pushing it back. They are advancing 100, 150, 200 meters every day using this tactic: dropping guided bombs, then a “meat assault,” [and if those are] repelled, dropping guided bombs again, and a “meat assault” again.

Putin’s role prophesied: Bible prophecy shows that Russian President Vladimir Putin is fiercely determined to strengthen Russia. Regardless of the immediate outcome of the war, Putin will survive and eventually lead a colossal Asian army that will wage much larger and more destructive wars.
