Poll: Mainstream Media a ‘Major Threat to Democracy’

The leftist New York Times has bad news for leftists. In conjunction with Siena College, it published its latest poll on October 18, stating that a large majority of independent women voters are planning to vote Republican in next month’s midterm elections, and Donald Trump would defeat Joe Biden in a 2024 presidential election.

• 0.5 percent: Respondents who said that the issue concerning them most was the climate, covid or the protest on Jan. 6, 2021.
• 44 percent: Respondents who said that the economy and inflation were the most important issues (up 8 percent from July).
• 64 percent: Republican respondents who believe the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump, along with 26 percent of Independent respondents.
• 74 percent: Respondents who stated that American democracy is “currently under threat.”

Who is doing the threatening? Respondents (24 percent) said that the mainstream media poses a “minor threat” to American democracy—and no less than 59 percent said it is a “major threat.”
