Spain Solid on Rock Stance

“The Spanish foreign minister said [November 3] that his government maintains its claim to sovereignty over Gibraltar and will continue to press the issue in a renewed dialogue with Britain. … [He] said the strategy of Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero’s Socialist administration would be to recover sovereignty over Gibraltar through dialogue and cooperation.”

Britain, once possessing the world’s most crucial sea gates, has been losing them since the mid-20th century—from Suez to Hong Kong. We have foretold that it will also lose Gibraltar.
