Tucker Carlson Leaves Fox News
Fox News Media announced that right-wing host Tucker Carlson is leaving the network. In a statement released yesterday, they said Carlson and the platform had agreed to “part ways.” They briefly thanked him “for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.”
His slot will be temporarily filled by several rotating hosts until a permanent replacement is found. The separation was effective immediately, not giving Carlson the opportunity to say farewell to his audience. Carlson’s show is one of the highest-rated cable tv news shows in the nation, with an audience of 3.25 million viewers. It is unlikely Fox News will receive the same traffic with his departure.
On Friday, Carlson gave a speech at the Heritage Foundation. He stated that the issues in America now are not a matter of Republican versus Democrat, but a matter of good versus evil.
Carlson attacked issues like abortion and the transgender movement, arguing that it is not about policy but about morality. He concluded his speech by imploring his audience to pray for the future of the nation, stating, “It might be worth taking just 10 minutes out of your busy schedule to say a prayer for the future, and I hope you will.”
So-called “radical” views like these are why the left has been calling for Carlson’s removal from the media. Rupert Murdoch, cofounder and cochairman of Fox News, has finally capitulated to their demands.
This weakening of Fox’s resolution comes as no surprise after last week’s Dominion lawsuit against Fox was settled for a sum of $787.5 million. As part of the settlement, Fox relented its claims that Dominion’s Voting Systems helped rig the 2020 election against Donald Trump. Fox is no longer recognizing the 2020 election steal. The platform has lost its backbone and now it has sacrificed its strongest voice to the whims of the Communist left.
On yesterday’s Trumpet Daily program, host Stephen Flurry explained the evils behind this growing movement to silence voices that don’t align with the left’s agenda. He also explained the solution. While Carlson’s call to prayer is a start, there is a fundamental key missing in his plea. To learn what that is, listen to “The End of Fox News: Tucker Carlson Out.”
