America’s Open Border Sows Seeds for Disaster

The procession of several thousand illegal migrants that set out on October 12 from Honduras is, with each passing week, getting closer and closer to its destination: the United States. And it’s getting closer and closer to worsening America’s immigration crisis and sociopolitical divisions.

“The United States has about five years left before the population imbalance in the entire Southwest will be so tilted toward the illegal aliens that there will be no possibility of passing any legislation at all,” Georgie Anne Geyer, a columnist at Universal Press Syndicate, warned in 1984. “Within 20 years, this illegal community will begin organizing politically, demanding rights even as they refuse to become citizens. … They will be led by self-styled caudillos and gangs. The rule of law will pass with the idea of American citizenship. If the Marxist civil wars in Central America are not contained, we will see a hemorrhage of Central Americans, many of them carrying with them extremist, Marxist and irredentist ideologies.”

The problems that Geyer described have grown progressively worse since 1984. They are fulfilling prophecies that Moses recorded almost 3,500 years ago!

Investigation Reveals Foiled Terror Plot in Germany

Germany narrowly avoided a massive terrorist attack at a music festival in 2016, according to investigations that have just been made public. The attack was to be executed by three separate groups of Syrian-based terrorists who were to infiltrate the country on the pretext of marriage to German citizens.

Hans-Georg Maaßen, president of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, warned about the danger of radicalized Germans returning home. “They identify so closely with the [Islamic State] ideology that one can rightly call them jihadis,” said Maaßen. Of those who return, he said that they “could be living time bombs.”

How many other plots exist, unknown to the general public? What if German authorities don’t catch and foil the next plot? How much will Germany’s migrant crisis exacerbate its leadership crisis? To what extent will the threat of Islamic terrorism cause Germans to demand a leader strong enough to galvanize the nation? Iran Helps Al-Qaeda-Linked Terror Group Evade UN Sanctions

Iran has been helping al-Shabaab, an al-Qaeda affiliate in Somalia, with its illegal charcoal shipments, according to a report cited by Agence France-Presse and Reuters on October 12.

United Nations Security Council monitors said that Iran “has been a weak link in implementation” of the UN’s ban on al-Shabaab’s charcoal.

While Iranian leaders have some ideological differences with al-Shabaab, it’s clear that they are willing to overlook them for the sake of achieving their ultimate goal: using radical Islam to terrorize Europe and America.

Russian Military Buildup in Kaliningrad Puts Europe on Edge

New satellite imagery made public on October 17 shows that Russia is engaged in a military buildup and major upgrades of its military installations in Kaliningrad.

This Russian territory, which lies right on nato’s doorstep, has long been an area of great concern to European nations. But instead of frightening Europe into inaction and subservience, Russia’s actions are frightening Europe into military action and unification to confront foreign threats—fulfilling Bible prophecy.

Taiwan Seeks Bigger Military to Protect Itself From China

Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen promised on October 10 to boost Taiwan’s national security in order to counter an increasingly aggressive China. Taiwan will not allow Communist China’s efforts to seize control of the island, Tsai said.

So far, Taiwan has survived Chinese aggression largely because of strong military and political ties with the United States. But U.S. support of Taiwan’s sovereignty has ebbed over the years, and Taiwan could compromise with China and surrender to its intimidation to avoid war. This would pave the way for Taiwan to lend its military might to the powerful Asian army prophesied in Revelation 9:16 and Revelation 16:12
