‘The War Is Very Complete’
Yesterday I wrote, “After nine days of war, Trump has yet to signal backing down.” Later in the day, Trump signaled backing down.
“I think the war is very complete, pretty much,” he told cbs News. He then gave a press conference where he said that though it wouldn’t end this week, the conflict was nearly over.
[BRIEF]
Just last Friday, the president and the Pentagon said they were just getting started.
I also wrote, “Watch for President Trump to find a way to sell defeat as victory.” To the press he described the campaign as a sweeping success, having “wiped every single force in Iran out, very completely.”
Meanwhile, Iran is utterly unbowed. Its Revolutionary Guards said, “We are the ones who will determine the end of the war.”
The Strait of Hormuz is still effectively shut down. This has choked off 20 percent of world oil (and significant lng flow), spiking prices over $100. Trump’s promise of a short war caused them to dip. He also warned that if Iran further disrupts the strait, the U.S. will hit “20 times harder.”
An irgc spokesman responded, “The Iranian armed forces … will not allow the export of a single liter of oil from the region to the hostile side and its partners until further notice.”
Unless Hormuz returns to full capacity quickly, oil prices will go right back up, and the global economic disruption will be immense.
What a package of lessons this war is teaching the world.
America is mighty, and President Trump is willing to use force. But not for long. And even then, the American people don’t want it. Even when it’s directed at an evil terrorist power that has directly attacked America for decades and is about to hold the world at nuclear gunpoint.
Iran is pushy, and it is committed. It can absorb blows and remain unintimidated. With its ability to threaten shipping in Hormuz and the Bab el-Mandeb, and to activate terrorist cells worldwide, it has the tools to cause considerable trouble.
If America does end this war soon, though it has degraded Iran militarily, it has actually made it more radical. And as the Trumpet has emphasized since the 1990s, the prophesied “king of the south” is radical Islam, led by Iran. What matters even more than Iran’s sunk navy or decimated airfields or smoking missile launchers is its hold on radical Islam, which remains firm.
As long as the irgc remains in charge, with an irgc-approved supreme leader, Iran remains a global threat. And as impressive as this U.S.-Israeli offensive has been, it is insufficient. It is, in fact, strength spent in vain.
I keep thinking about Daniel 11:40—the prophecy about an Iran-led push against Europe and a shockingly violent European response, “like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.”
The war Europe wages will be significantly more powerful and more comprehensive than what we have witnessed. But these past nine days have shown that nothing less will do the job.
Think of Europe even being capable of such ferocity, militarily, operationally, morally. This is the kind of power the Continent is acquiring right now—and with America’s blessing.
French Fleet Steams for Strait of Hormuz
French and allied warships will escort tankers and other commercial ships through the Strait of Hormuz, French President Emmanuel Macron said from the eastern Mediterranean Sea island of Cyprus on Monday. He called the mission purely “defensive” and “essential for international trade, but also for the flow of gas and oil, which must be able to leave the region once again.”
Oil and gas prices spiked to their highest levels since 2022 due to Iran’s threats to strike vessels transiting Hormuz. They dropped again after President Trump indicated that the war was nearly “complete.”
Big number: Roughly 20 percent of oil consumed globally passes through this strait.
- Iranian proxy Hezbollah launched three drones against the British military base on Cyprus on March 2, one of which struck an airfield and caused minor damage. Two were intercepted, as were additional drones on March 4.
- Greece, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and Turkey, in roughly that order, have dispatched forces to the area.
- France’s deployment includes its Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier, eight frigates, two amphibious assault ships and other vessels.
Red Sea red zone: The European mission aspides, separate from nato, has operated in the Red Sea since February 2024. Yesterday the European Union said it was willing to reinforce that operation and to “better respond to the situation.” Macron announced from Cyprus that this would include two French frigates. nato, Europe and Iran all have forces or proxies near the southern outlet to the Red Sea, the Bab el-Mandeb.
France’s potential operation, combined with a bolstered aspides operation, would significantly enhance Europe’s presence in the eastern Mediterranean, the Red Sea and the Strait of Hormuz, three of the most crucial maritime passages for Europe and the world.
After Europe sent warships into the region in 2024, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry stated that “radical Islam will push at the king of the north—a German-led European empire—and that the Europeans will counterattack, destroy Iran, and take their allies captive.” Part of that push against Europe, he explained, could be over the Red Sea and the Strait of Hormuz. By sending powerful warships to the passages most hotly contested by Iran, Europe is setting the stage for the fulfillment of that prophecy. It won’t be long before Europe takes decisive action against Iran.
Last-Ditch Attempt to ‘SAVE’ the American Republic
On Sunday, President Donald Trump announced that he would withhold his signature from all legislation until Congress passes the SAVE America Act, which would impose nationwide proof-of-citizenship requirements to vote.
- “It must be done immediately,” President Trump posted on Truth Social. “It supersedes everything else. Must go to the front of the line. I, as president, will not sign other bills until this is passed.”
The House of Representatives passed the SAVE America Act, formally titled the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, last month, but Sen. Chuck Schumer said Democrats would kill it in the Senate, claiming it would disenfranchise 20 million people who are too poor and uneducated to get voter identification and hinting that the bill is racist.
- While estimates indicate that roughly 9 percent of the voting population lacks easy access to proof of citizenship—such as a passport, birth certificate or naturalization papers—these documents are straightforward and inexpensive to obtain for those who want them.
- Requiring such documents amounts to an inconvenience for fewer than 1 in 10 voters and would prevent illegal immigrants and other ineligible people from voting, massively reducing election fraud.
In his 2018 article “Saving America From the Radical Left—Temporarily,” Mr. Flurry wrote that a Democrat victory in the 2016 election would have “meant an end to our constitutional republic,” so God had to intervene to place Donald Trump into office.
He wrote in 2011 that “The U.S. Constitution Is Over 95 Percent Destroyed!” The reason for this dire assessment was the sheer number of government scandals aimed at the “destruction of the fundamental nature of the constitutional republic.” Voter fraud is one of these scandals, which became much more widespread in the 2020 election.
The one and only way the American people control their government is through elections, yet these have been plagued by serious fraud for decades. Today, many recognize that elections are compromised, citizens lack control of their government, and the Constitution is largely destroyed. Some are trying to “save America,” but the republic is slipping away.

Turkish opposition leader faces charges: Turkish opposition leader Ekrem İmamoğlu appeared in court for his first hearing yesterday. He faces more than 140 charges ranging from academic fraud to corruption to organized crime to treason and terrorism, carrying a maximum sentence of 2,430 years. İmamoğlu denies any wrongdoing and says President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is using the accusations to disqualify him so he can remain in power. It does fit a pattern of authoritarianism from Turkey’s leader, yet Turkey remains a member of nato. Surprisingly, an increasing number of people around the world find dictatorial leadership appealing, which the Bible warns is an ominous trend.
Croatian conscripts report for duty: The first batch of 354 Croatian conscripts reported for duty for two months of military training on Monday. In the future, up to 4,000 Croatian men deemed fit for service between the ages of 19 and 29 may be conscripted annually. Rising nationalism in Croatia, including the resumption of conscription after its abolition in 2008, highlights that Europe is preparing for war.
U.S. fighting Iraqi militias: Iraqi militias backed by Iran have launched dozens of small-scale drone and rocket attacks against American positions since the United States and Israel attacked Iran on February 28. U.S. officials have said the Iran war is spilling across the border and drawing forces back into the country even as the U.S. tries to vacate Iraq. Bible prophecy indicates that Iran will dominate Iraq as end-time events unfold, as Gerald Flurry has warned for decades. Renewed attacks in Iraq show this prophecy has already been fulfilled.
NYC Islamist terrorists charged: Two young men who threw two makeshift explosive devices into a crowd in New York City on March 7 have been charged with terrorism. Ibrahim Kayumi and Emir Balat, ages 19 and 18, of Turkish and of Afghan descent, grew up in upper-middle-class homes. They assembled and ignited devices containing high explosives and bolts meant to rip through people’s bodies. The bombs failed to explode as intended among people at a protest outside the mayor’s residence. The men praised Allah and said they were inspired by the Islamic State and wanted to kill more people than in the Boston Marathon bombing. Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s statement began by focusing on the “white supremacist” protest organizer, conspicuously omitting the names of the would-be murderers and avoiding the word terrorism. Mainstream news headlines intentionally avoided the words “Islamic,” “terror” and “bomb.” The Islamist terrorist threat continues to exist within American society, yet politicians and news executives continue to obscure the truth.
