China Is Assisting Russia’s War on Ukraine, Trade Data Shows

China is providing Russia’s military with technology needed to continue its war on Ukraine despite international sanctions and export controls against such transfers, the Wall Street Journal reported on February 4.

Data shows that since the war broke out last February, Chinese state-owned companies have sent Russia tens of thousands of shipments of dual-use goods, which are items with both military and commercial applications.

  • China has sent fighter-jet components, navigation technology and jamming equipment.

… Russian companies have been recorded using these same types of parts directly in Russia’s war in Ukraine.

The centerpiece of the West’s response to Russia’s war was an economic pressure campaign aimed at preventing Moscow from importing most of such items. Western authorities said this campaign would throw a wrench in Russia’s war machine. But China is undermining those efforts and is keeping Russia’s war humming.

Prophecy says: China clearly remains deeply committed to its partnership with Russia, even when that commitment jeopardizes China’s trade ties with the Western markets that its economy depends on. This ongoing support defies logic in some ways, but it is an outcome that Bible prophecy warned about.

  • Revelation 16:12 foretells of a multinational Asian alliance that will emerge in the modern era.
  • It is named “the kings of the east.”
  • Russia will be at the head of this bloc, with China as its main partner.
  • This bloc will play a major role in nuclear World War iii.

In 2014, after China publicly backed Russia’s annexation of Ukraine’s Crimean Peninsula, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry said the support was “a stunning fulfillment of a biblical prophecy!”
