Could Syria join ‘Arab NATO’?

Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani said Saturday that his country may join the Mecca Pact, a mutual defense alliance between Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan. The three established the alliance in August as protection against Iran and activated it against the Houthis last month. The composition of the alliance, with the prospect of Syria joining it, matches a Middle Eastern alliance of the Saudis and Turks described in the prophecy of Psalm 83.
