China and Russia flex military muscle during Japan-U.S. drills

Chinese spy planes, drones and warships are ranging near Japan’s southwestern islands, and Russian reconnaissance planes are prowling the Sea of Japan as Japanese and American forces conduct major military exercises in the region, Geopolitiki reported today. “Keen Sword 27,” which began October 19 and runs through October 29, involves approximately 45,000 Japanese personnel and 12,000 U.S. troops. The Chinese and Russian activity comes amid a broader pattern of military cooperation between the two near Japan, including joint bomber flights and naval operations. Tensions are worsening between Asia’s most powerful nations, but biblical prophecy shows that they will ultimately set aside their differences and unite.
