Germany’s Foreigner Crime Spike

One in three criminal suspects in Germany is a foreigner, even though foreigners only represent 15 percent of the population. Data released by the German government on August 20 shows that this figure has increased drastically since 2000.

Between 2000 and 2025, the number of foreign suspects in Germany rose:

232 percent for threats
169 percent for negligent simple bodily harm
148 percent for sexual offenses
98 percent for pickpocketing
77 percent for homicides
72 percent for violent crime

The numbers are “shocking news,” Stephan Brandner, the legislator from the Alternative for Germany party who requested the data, told Junge Freiheit. He said the nation already has “more than enough to deal with in terms of German criminals” and should not “import” foreign criminals.
