Can American escalation reopen Hormuz?

The U.S. is also reportedly deploying two light aircraft carriers with roughly 4,400 marines to the area to reinforce the large carrier strike group already in place and to escalate the effort to reopen the trade route. However, a Bible prophecy in Daniel 11:40 indicates that the U.S. will soon pull out of the conflict and Europe will be drawn into it.
