Ukraine strikes Russian ships

Ukraine struck two Russian ships in the Caspian Sea, it announced today. The Composer Rachmaninoff and Askar-Sarydzha were both under American sanctions for transporting military equipment between Russia and Iran. Russia is stuck in Ukraine, Iran is licking its wounds from an American-Israeli attack earlier this year, and both dangerous regimes are subject to international sanctions—yet they are still cooperating and still pushing.
