America Falls Out With Europe
Good morning!
It was a rough weekend for America-Europe relations.
Europe is fuming at Donald Trump after his newly released National Security Strategy openly criticizes European governments for leaving their doors wide open to migrants, for censoring speech, for stonewalling on the Ukraine war, and for freeloading on America’s military. These are legitimate criticisms. But in our feature story this morning, Richard Palmer explains Trump’s insane solution: demand that Europe step up as a united, militarized empire. (This rings alarm bells for anyone familiar with biblical prophecy.)
[BRIEF]
Perhaps Europe was partially lashing back at President Trump when it slapped Elon Musk’s X social media platform with a $140 million fine, the first punishment assessed under the EU’s Digital Services Act. The EU dislikes X’s blue checkmark policy, which it called deceptive, and said X had not met the dsa’s transparency and accessibility requirements. Secretary of State Marco Rubio called the fine “an attack on all American tech platforms and the American people” and said, “The days of censoring Americans online are over.”
Bible prophecy shows this simmering animosity is actually the early stages of full-scale war. It also warns of America failing to recognize the true threat from Europe. The way that the Trump administration is actively calling for Europe to arm itself reflects a dangerous blindness. Read Mr. Palmer’s article to learn more.
Donald Trump ceasefire explodes: A short-lived Trump-brokered peace was shattered today when Thailand announced that it had launched air and ground operations against Cambodia, killing at least one soldier and wounding at least eight. The Telegraph pointed out that the “peace deal did not address the root causes of the dispute or detail a path to resolve issues, and frosty relations have continued.”
- Thailand’s military accused Cambodia of attacking Thai soldiers yesterday; Cambodia denies this. Cambodia claims Thailand has killed at least four civilians and injured 10 others.
- The conflict centers on disputed borders outlined on a 1907 map.
- In July, the two sides fought a brief war, causing hundreds of thousands to flee their homes.
President Donald Trump pressed the two sides into a peace agreement in October, one of several hastily constructed deals that could fall apart.
-
“The eight wars that my administration has ended in eight months, there’s never been anything like that,” he said at the time, adding, “I shouldn’t say it’s a hobby, because it’s so much more serious, but something I’m good at and something I love to do.”
President Trump’s peace deal included demining operations and international monitoring, but violations, alleged and real, began almost immediately. Thailand suspended its involvement on November 10, and now the exchanges have escalated from small arms and landmines to fighter jets and armor.
The resumption of this conflict adds to President Trump’s list of failed peace initiatives due to his fundamental misunderstanding of human nature.
Merz meets Netanyahu: two opposing visions of peace: A “lasting peace is possible” in Gaza, Friedrich Merz said yesterday during his first visit to Israel since becoming Germany’s chancellor in May. “I have to say, Friedrich, I think we’re at the cusp of a new age, because I think that we will achieve the expansion of peace,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at a joint press conference. These almost euphoric sentiments are overshadowed by the two leaders’ drastically different views on how to achieve peace.
Merz said at the press conference:
Our conviction is that the prospective establishment of a Palestinian state alongside Israel presumably offers the best prospect for this future.
Netanyahu said at the same press conference:
On the question of two states, now we have a different point of view, obviously, because the purpose of a Palestinian state is to destroy the one and only Jewish state. They already had a state in Gaza, a defective state, and it was used to try to destroy the one and only Jewish state. We believe there’s a path to advance a broader peace with the Arab states and a path also to establish a workable peace with our Palestinian neighbors. But we’re not going to create a state that will be committed to our destruction at our doorstep.
Merz confirmed that Germany would not recognize a Palestinian state at this time, as some other European governments have, and he promised that the arms embargo Germany placed on Israel earlier this year would be a one-time occurrence. Before visiting Israel, he visited Jordan rather than meeting with leaders of the Palestinian Authority.
The meeting in Aqaba, Jordan, focused on strengthening economic and defense ties and improving regional stability, Jordanian news agency Petra reported.
In the meantime, Netanyahu announced that the U.S.-led peace initiative between Israel and Hamas will soon move into its second phase, which obligates Hamas to disarm.
Netanyahu knows that a two-state solution would lead to Israel’s destruction. However, Psalm 83 prophesies Germany will ally with various Arab countries to achieve this exact goal.

Germany aims to expand partnership with China: Today, amid a two-day visit to China, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said, “We are in favor of free world trade. We are in favor of removing trade barriers.” China overtook the U.S. as Germany’s most important trading partner last year. Despite the “obstacles,” Wadephul said, Germany intends to expand the partnership. The visit was originally scheduled for October but was delayed due to Germany’s condemnation of the Chinese Communist Party’s aggressive behavior toward Taiwan. French President Emmanuel Macron just returned from a three-day visit to China, during which he threatened to impose tariffs on China if it doesn’t lower its trade surplus with the EU. Though China and the EU are competitors, animosity toward the U.S. unites them.
Russia began borrowing Chinese currency from other countries on Tuesday to fund its war in Ukraine. It has already borrowed the equivalent of $2.8 billion. By dealing in yuan, Russia is increasing demand for Chinese currency while decreasing demand for the U.S. dollar. Other countries are also working to reduce their dollar holdings to weaken the U.S. This intensifying trend is a harbinger of economic trouble coming to America, as prophesied in the Bible.
Israel and Qatar hold secret meeting in New York: The United States hosted representatives from Israel and Qatar in New York yesterday, Axios reported, stating that this is “the highest-level meeting between the countries since the deal to end the war in Gaza.” Qatar has hosted Hamas terrorists, and Israel struck a Hamas meeting in the nation’s capital in September, causing a diplomatic crisis. The U.S. views Qatar as an important ally and has been urging Israel to make amends. Compromising with nations that sponsor terrorism will ultimately backfire on the United States.
UK official silenced ethics advisers over covid policies:The British government’s chief scientific adviser for health during the covid-19 pandemic silenced government ethics advisers who had raised concerns about the covid passports, the vaccine rollout and the effect of lockdowns on children. The Telegraph reported on December 6 that Prof. Chris Whittey told the cochair of the Moral and Ethical Advisory Committee to stop putting its recommendations in writing. As the government implemented lockdowns, officials told citizens to “trust the science,” yet reports like this one show that high-ranking government officials suppressed the science to serve a political agenda.
Mainstream media say January 6 would-be pipe-bomber was pro-Trump: After Brian Cole Jr. was arrested on Thursday, the corporate media reported that he was a Trump supporter who was radicalized by claims that the 2020 election was stolen. “The man charged with planting two pipe bombs near the Democratic and Republican party headquarters on the eve of the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol told the FBI he believed conspiracy theories about the 2020 election, according to two people familiar with the matter,” nbc News summarized. The identity of the “two people familiar with the matter” is unknown, but the criminal affidavit against Cole alleges that he began purchasing the components used to make the bombs in 2019, months before the 2020 election was even held, much less stolen. Cole’s grandmother told the Daily Mail that he has no party affiliation and never votes, so the corporate media narrative, once again, appears to be driven by a political agenda more than by evidence.
