German troops train in New Zealand

Since October 30, fifty German troops have been training in New Zealand. They have flown in formation, conducted low-altitude flights, and deployed parachutists and cargo. The “Tūhono Rangi” joint exercise with the New Zealand Defense Force will conclude by the end of the week. This operation is part of Germany’s strategy to increase its presence in the Indo-Pacific region and demonstrates its global ambition.
