Exposing the Epstein Cover-up
Jeffrey Epstein has become the perverted face of elite America. He was a corrupt plutocrat predator who used his wealth and power to abuse the helpless—but he is far from being the only one.
America is morally and spiritually sick. Epstein is a symptom of far more widespread sexual sins in America.
For three decades, the Wall Street financier manipulated, trafficked and raped hundreds of teenage girls. Together with his girlfriend and accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, this monster transported children to Florida, New Mexico, New York, the United Kingdom and the Virgin Islands to abuse and rape them.
Guests from the highest ranks of society—princes, politicians, celebrities, scientists—were eager to visit Epstein in his homes. Dozens flew on his private plane, nicknamed “The Lolita Express” after a fictional 12-year-old girl who was manipulated, corrupted, victimized and repeatedly raped by a pedophile. Epstein was known to have a first edition of the book Lolita. Many of the passengers were bound for Epstein’s resort on Little St. James Island. The locals called it “Pedophile Island” because many of the girls sunbathing topless on the beaches looked like teenagers. Nearly 200 people are known to have visited Epstein’s den of iniquity.
It has been six years since Epstein was finally arrested and then died in his jail cell awaiting trial. It has been more than four years since Maxwell was convicted on five counts of enticing and transporting children to be raped. Yet not a single one of their clients has been brought to justice.
President Donald Trump promised to release the “Jeffrey Epstein Files” when he regained the presidency. Now he has the power to release them, but hasn’t. People are asking why the White House would keep the truth about Epstein and Maxwell secret. But the president is criticizing even his own supporters for demanding the promised information.
Who have our elites become? Who have we ourselves become? How deep does the perversion in America go? Horrific things are happening to our children—and still we will not draw the line! Is there nothing that is unspeakable, unthinkable?
The Epstein Files
The official explanation of Epstein’s death is that he killed himself in his jail cell on Aug. 10, 2019. Yet the metadata shows that 2 minutes and 53 seconds were removed from the original prison surveillance video of Epstein’s final hours in prison. Many Americans believe powerful people had Epstein murdered before he could divulge the identities of those who had raped children with him.
President Trump used to be one of these Americans. In August 2019, he reposted an allegation that Bill Clinton was connected to Epstein’s death and asked Attorney General Bill Barr to conduct a thorough investigation. Barr concluded that Epstein’s death while behind bars at one of the most secure jails in America was the result of “a perfect storm of screw-ups.” Barr and the Department of Justice then moved on as if there were nothing to see.
A significant portion of the Make America Great Again movement, however, refused to drop the issue. President Trump promised that if he was reelected, he would declassify the Epstein Files. This is why so many Americans feel betrayed by Trump’s announcement on July 16 that the “Epstein ‘Hoax’” is a “made-up story” written by Barack Obama, Joe Biden and James Comey that his “past supporters” have swallowed “hook, line and sinker.”
What is behind this dramatic U-turn?
On February 21, President Trump’s new attorney general, Pam Bondi, was asked in a Fox News interview if it was true that the Department of Justice “may be releasing the list of Jeffery Epstein’s clients.” Bondi said, “It’s sitting on my desk right now. That’s been a directive by President Trump.”
On February 27, she declassified and publicly released some of the files related to Epstein’s sexual exploitation of over 250 teenage girls. Most of these files had been previously leaked to the public, so none of the information in them was a new revelation. But Bondi called the release “The Epstein Files: Phase i,” indicating she would release more files later. “This Department of Justice is following through on President Trump’s commitment to transparency and lifting the veil on the disgusting actions of Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators,” she said. “The first phase of files released today sheds light on Epstein’s extensive network and begins to provide the public with long overdue accountability.” Her use of the word “co-conspirators” was an official admission that Maxwell was not the only other person involved in Epstein’s “sexual exploitation of over 250 underage girls.”
On that same day, Bondi wrote a letter to her subordinate, fbi Director Kash Patel, stating that she had received only about 200 pages of information, but the fbi New York Field Office held “thousands of pages of documents.” She ordered Patel to deliver them by 8 a.m. the following day, with “no withholdings or limitations.”
“The fbi is entering a new era—one that will be defined by integrity, accountability, and the unwavering pursuit of justice,” Patel said in a Justice Department memo that same day. “There will be no cover-ups, no missing documents, and no stone left unturned—and anyone from the prior or current bureau who undermines this will be swiftly pursued. If there are gaps, we will find them. If records have been hidden, we will uncover them. And we will bring everything we find to the doj to be fully assessed and transparently disseminated to the American people as it should be. The oath we take is to the Constitution, and under my leadership, that promise will be upheld without compromise.” This type of transparency is exactly what 77 million Americans voted for.
Patel provided the documents as directed by 8 a.m., February 28. Since then, silence.
Federal Cover-up
Nearly 10 weeks passed after “The Epstein Files: Phase i” with no sign of “The Epstein Files: Phase ii” when undercover journalist James O’Keefe contacted Bondi. He told her that one of his undercover reporters had secretly recorded a conservation she’d had with her. “Do you know when the Epstein files are going to get released?” the reporter asked. “We hope soon,” Bondi answered. “The fbi has been on them. … There are tens and thousands of videos, and it’s all with little kids. So they have to go through every one.”
That was a shocking statement. At a White House press conference on May 7, Bondi publicly confirmed: “There are tens of thousands of videos of Epstein with children or child porn. There are hundreds of victims, and no one victim will ever get released. It’s just the volume, and that’s what they’re going through right now.”
Two months passed.
Finally, Bondi’s Justice Department released an unsigned memo stating that its investigators concluded that “Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide,” that it “found no incriminating ‘client list,’” and that there was “no credible evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals.”
In other words, Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted for sex trafficking and is still in prison for it, but the Department of Justice believes that Epstein and Maxwell were the only two people involved in this abuse. It has no explanation of what Bondi meant when she referenced “Epstein and his co-conspirators,” nor of what is contained in those “thousands of pages of documents.”
Americans are obviously upset with the government’s explanation. Virginia Giuffre told bbc that she was “passed around like a platter of fruit” to Epstein’s associates, including Prince Andrew of York. The British royal family found her accusations credible enough to pay her $16 million to keep quiet about her time with Prince Andrew on Epstein’s “Pedophile Island” when she was only 17 years old. (Giuffre died, supposedly of suicide, two months after Attorney General Bondi started talking about “The Epstein Files: Phase ii.”)
There is an abundance of evidence that Epstein’s sex-trafficking ring involved more than just himself and Maxwell.
President Trump responded to the new Justice Department memo with a Truth Social post claiming that the “Epstein Hoax” is a scam. Yet he has been mysteriously vague about which parts of the scandal he thinks are a “hoax.” He has not accused Bondi of lying about the thousands of pages of evidence and thousands of hours of video showing the sexual abuse of children, nor has he called for Ghislaine Maxwell to be released from jail. So he obviously still believes Epstein and Maxwell are guilty.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said that Trump banned Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago club back in 2004 “for being a creep.” So the only part of the “Jeffrey Epstein Hoax” that President Trump could say is a conspiracy is the clients list. Perhaps he fears what those clients will do if they are exposed.
There is no evidence that Donald Trump ever raped anyone or had sex with a child. Yet he did frequent the same social circles as Epstein and certainly has a past as a womanizer. In the 1980s, Mr. Trump had a highly publicized affair with Marla Maples while still married to Ivana Trump. He attended the 40th anniversary party for Playboy magazine in 1993. He openly bragged on the Howard Stern Show about entering dressing rooms while Miss U.S.A. contestants were changing their clothes back when he owned that and other pageants. President Trump has cleaned up his life somewhat since he married his current wife, Melania, but he has never apologized for the sins he committed and glorified years ago.
National Perversion
The New York Times reported that Trump and Epstein used to party together with cheerleaders and models at Mar-a-Lago, so it is highly likely that President Trump is mentioned in the Epstein Files. (Ghislaine Maxwell started grooming Virginia Giuffre while the latter worked as a spa attendant at Mar-a-Lago). Yet if embarrassment over past mistakes is what is stopping him from releasing the Epstein Files, President Trump needs to swallow his pride and do what is right for the sake of the girls Epstein and his co-conspirators abused—and for the sake of truth and justice in America.
It is notable that the Epstein Files prominently feature allegations that Prince Andrew (King Charles iii’s younger brother) slept with a 17-year-old on Epstein’s island. Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry wrote an article in 2017 titled “The Fall of the British Royal Family” highlighting some of their sexual sins (theTrumpet.com/16067).
“Before the plague of homosexuality, there is the spirit of fornication, which tears marriages and families apart,” he wrote, speaking of Jude 7. “Many don’t even learn the concept of marriage and family. We would not have the homosexual problem if we were building God-plane families. Upside-down families are the primary cause of homosexuality. God’s plan is to expand His own Family through human families. Great nations can only be built through great families. Family is at the core of all that is essential in this life. Homosexuals and lesbians are evidence of the total breakdown of families within our society, and are a sign that such nations are cursed by God and about ready to be destroyed! Jude 7 is the strongest warning in the Bible against the nations given over to sodomy!”
This statement about “the spirit of fornication” as the root cause of “homosexuality” is also true regarding transgenderism, pedophilia, bestiality and other perversions. So when 47-year-old Donald Trump attended a party celebrating the 40th anniversary of Playboy (a magazine that besmirched American culture by promoting a lascivious view of sex and lifestyle), he was celebrating the culture that produces men like Jeffrey Epstein. The truth is, Epstein went further down the dark path that Trump himself used to walk in the ’80s and ’90s.
At some point in Epstein’s life, partying with adult women stopped exciting him, so he started preying on teenagers. His sexual sins spread and made him the monster he was.
The Trump administration definitely needs to start prosecuting those involved in this illegal sex-trafficking ring. Yet doing so will force it to confront a reality the president does not want to face: “the spirit of fornication.” That sinful spirit is what creates sexual deviants like Epstein!
According to a study published in the Journal of Sex Research, 92 percent of American men and 60 percent of American women watch pornography monthly. Highly popular websites profit from providing videos of rape, sexual abuse and child sex trafficking. The pornography industry is filled with men like Jeffrey Epstein who are desperate to avoid exposure. Will President Trump expose them? God has given him the power to do so. But taking action may require that he admit that his own actions were wrong and that activities that millions of Americans consider “normal” are wicked!
The “Epstein hoax” is not some conspiracy theory about an elite cabal that has hijacked the American government. Rather, it is a damning testament about where the “spirit of fornication” leads nations. Any culture where 92 percent of men are enslaved to pornography cannot help but produce multiple Epsteins!
Before it can truly move on from the Epstein scandal, America must lock up those who have broken the law and dismantle the culture that glorifies pornography, fornication, adultery, homosexuality and pedophilia.
Missing Dimension
The late Herbert W. Armstrong published a book in 1964 titled God Speaks Out on ‘The New Morality.’ Seven years later, he republished it with a new title: The Missing Dimension in Sex. The Trumpet’s publisher makes this book available to you for free upon request.
“All through the Bible, God condemns lust,” Mr. Armstrong wrote in this book. “Fornication—the sex act committed prior to marriage—is a sin and breaks the Seventh Commandment. Homosexuality is condemned in the Bible as sin—sodomites shall not inherit the Kingdom of God! Any use of sex, except as an expression of love in marriage, and, also, for the purpose of procreation in marriage, is a sin, and breaks the Seventh Commandment! That includes masturbation, bestiality—any perversion—any use except that of love and reproduction in marriage! The marriage relation is the very type of Christ’s relation to the Church!”
Most Americans do not agree with these biblical truths. Most Americans have already accepted a panorama of sexual sins. That is why it takes a demonic sexual monster like Jeffrey Epstein to emerge before they get upset!
Masturbation became “normal.” Pornography became “normal.” Fornication became “normal.” Adultery became “normal.” Homosexuality became “normal.” Violent pornography became “normal.” Transgenderism became “normal.” How long before pedophilia becomes “normal”?
Scandals like the Epstein Files are the consequence of broken law. So while the left wants to destroy Donald Trump’s presidency by hypocritically singling him out for partying with Epstein, the fact remains that Republicans and Democrats alike are guilty of transforming America into a perverted society. The Epstein Files should be a politically nonpartisan issue. They should provoke a call to national repentance.
God created sex to be a wonderfully beautiful, unselfish expression of love between a husband and wife within marriage. Used in any other way, it is an act of lust, which is sin. One of the dangerous things about sin is that, unrepented of, it leads to more and bigger sins. This is why God has to “bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.” It would have been far easier for America to repent back in the 1950s, when fornication was the front line of the sexual revolution. It will be harder now that the nation has gone far past fornication into homosexuality and other sexual perversions. The Epstein Files show us what may be next if the nation does not return to the virtues God laid out for us in the Bible.
