Germany Plans to Acquire Up to 3,500 More Tanks

Germany is considering procuring up to 2,500 armored fighting vehicles and 1,000 battle tanks, according to sources cited by Bloomberg on July 4. These tanks would support nato’s request for Germany to contribute seven combat brigades to the alliance’s forces within the next decade.

The order: German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and the military leadership are reportedly reviewing the order of up to 2,500 gtk Boxer wheeled armored vehicles and 1,000 Leopard 2 battle tanks, which could cost as much as €25 billion (us$29.3 billion). A decision is expected by the end of the year.

Earlier this year, the Bundeswehr received approval to procure more than 1,000 modular armored vehicles from Finnish defense contractor Patria.

A new era: Germany is taking enormous steps toward militarization. Part of nato’s original purpose was “to keep the Germans down.” This has effectively been reversed. Bible prophecy reveals the result.
