Danish Intelligence: Russia Could Go to War With Europe Within Five Years

If Europe is weak or divided, Russia could be ready to launch a “large-scale war” against the Continent within the next five years, the Danish Defense Intelligence Service (ddis) said in a report released Tuesday.

Russia is likely to be more willing to use military force in a regional war against one or more European nato countries if it perceives nato as militarily weakened or politically divided.

The report added that this is particularly likely to happen if the United States does not support the European nato countries.

After Ukraine, who’s next? The Danish statement comes after U.S. President Donald Trump said he wanted to end the war in Ukraine, which is nearing its three-year mark. The ddis said there are three scenarios that could happen if the Ukraine conflict stops or freezes:

  • Within six months, Russia could wage a local war with a bordering country.
  • Within two years, Russia could launch a regional war in the Baltic Sea region.
  • Within five years, Russia could start a large-scale war against Europe, provided the U.S. is not involved.

Pressuring Europe: Trump said last month that nato members should spend 5 percent of their gross domestic product on defense, a drastic increase from the previous 2 percent goal.

Trump has suggested the U.S. could withdraw from the alliance if the Europeans don’t pay enough toward defense. He has even said he would “encourage” Russia to attack any nato country that doesn’t meet the defense spending target.

Rising superpower: As the Russo-Ukrainian War drags on and the U.S. becomes an unreliable ally, Europe is realizing it needs to militarize quickly to defend itself. Watch for this fear of Russia to turn the Continent into a unified, militaristic superpower as prophesied in your Bible.
