U.S. Braces for Border Chaos

The Biden administration is deploying 1,500 troops to the southern border in anticipation of the Title 42 pandemic policy ending. This policy allowed immigration authorities to turn back hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens without giving them a chance for asylum in an effort to stop the spread of covid-19. Yet now that Title 42 is set to expire on May 11, authorities expect illegal border crossings to surpass 10,000 per day.

Foreign invasion: The number of illegal aliens being taken into custody is already near record levels, with authorities making between 6,000 to 8,000 arrests per day. Since Joe Biden took the oath of office, more than 5 million illegal aliens have been apprehended crossing the border. That is more people than live in any U.S. metropolitan area except New York City, and roughly as many people as live in Ireland or New Zealand. Yet Biden does not seem concerned that twice as many illegal aliens have crossed into America during his short 28 months in office as crossed into America during Donald Trump’s four years in office.

Lackluster response: The 1,500 active-duty troops the Biden administration is sending to the border will join 2,500 National Guard troops already at the border. But the Defense Department personnel will not interact with illegal aliens. They will only support U.S. Customs and Border Protection by performing “non-law enforcement duties” such as monitoring cameras, data entry and warehouse support. Biden won’t actually deport more illegals; he’s just sending more troops to help count them.

Fundamental transformation: Some analysts think demographic shifts caused by illegal immigration could turn Texas into a Democratic stronghold, and this is undoubtedly why Biden turns a blind eye to it. The radical Biden administration is trying to get Americans to accept an authoritarian government by importing millions of illegal aliens accustomed to living under authoritarian rule in their home countries. This should concern anyone who believes in Republican principles like the rule of law, separation of powers, equal protection and civil liberties.

Mixed with foreigners: In The United States and Britain in Prophecy, the late Herbert W. Armstrong showed how the English-speaking peoples are largely descended from the Israelite tribes of Manasseh and Ephraim. This astonishing truth means end-time prophecies about these tribes are actually about the U.S. and British Commonwealth.

One such prophecy is in Hosea: “Ephraim allows himself to be mixed up with foreigners; Ephraim has become a cake unturned as it was baked. Foreigners eat away his strength, unknown to him; grey hairs are on him here and there, unknown to him. Israel’s pride shall confront and convict them; yet they will not come back to the Eternal their God, nor seek him, in spite of it all” (Hosea 7:8-10; Moffatt translation).

Hosea often refers to the northern 10 tribes of Israel, which split away from Judah, as “Ephraim,” the most prominent tribe, and “Samaria,” the capital. Yet the prophecies of Hosea were spoken to Ephraim and Manasseh jointly when King Jeroboam ii ruled both tribes. So this prophecy is about America and Britain, and it describes the careless and risky immigration policies that are sapping the strength of these peoples.
