Iran’s Rush to Arm Its Proxies

And United States President Donald Trump tells French President Macron he is willing to be tough on Israel in peace negotiations.

If there is any doubt who is pushing their weight around the Middle East, the stories this week should be able to answer it.

While the world seems preoccupied with the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the hands of the Saudis, Iran was busy continuing its push to arm its proxies.

Here are four stories from the past week that show Iran’s pushy foreign policy:

  • Iran has delivered gps devices to Hezbollah in the past couple of weeks to make their missiles far more accurate.
  • The Israel Defense Force discovered a Hezbollah observation post that the terrorist group attempted to conceal as part of the operation of a fictitious environmental organization, “Green Without Borders.”
  • Israeli intelligence has discovered that Iran is building factories to manufacture and upgrade missiles in Iraq, in addition to its efforts in Syria and Lebanon.
  • Houthi media recently broadcast clear footage of naval mines to confirm the group’s explicit recognition of its capabilities to plant mines at the southern entrance of the Red Sea.

These stories show that Iran is continuing its push to arm its proxies in its war of domination over the Middle East. This fits in with our long-standing forecast of Iran fulfilling the role of the biblical king of the south.

Trump Is Willing to ‘Be Tough’ on Israel in Peace Negotiations

According to Israel’s Channel 10, four Western diplomats with knowledge of the matter indicated that United States President Donald Trump told French President Emmanuel Macron during a recent meeting that he was prepared to pressure Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accept the administration’s long-gestating peace initiative, once it is unveiled, mirroring pressure already leveled against the Palestinians.

Based on the biblically prophesied break up of the relationship between the U.S. and the nation of Israel, we have wondered since he came into office whether Mr. Trump’s desire for “the deal of the century” would push Israel too far in terms of making concessions. This would then actually break the longtime alliance. You can read more about this in our article “Band of Brothers.”
