Michigan Offers Landlords $500 Per Month to House Third World ‘Newcomers’

United States Customs and Border Patrol agents have encountered 7.3 million illegal immigrants at the U.S. southern border since Joe Biden took office. Democrats have granted parole to more than 1 million of these illegals, allowing them to live and work in the U.S., typically for one or two years.

The state of Michigan decided to help these illegal immigrants by offering landlords $500 a month to take them in. The Newcomer Rental Subsidy “provides refugees and other newcomer population-eligible households with rental assistance up to $500 per month for up to 12 months, with eligibility based on immigration status and household income.”

Third World: The Newcomer Rental Subsidy program offers applications in Arabic, Dari, English, Haitian Creole, Kinyarwanda, Pashto, Spanish and Ukrainian. So we can assume most “newcomers” come from Afghanistan, Central Africa, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Latin America.

Detroit, Michigan, has the second-highest violent crime rate in the U.S. (behind only St. Louis, Missouri). Admitting more low-income, Third World refugees to the city is unlikely to help.

End-time prophecy: Herbert W. Armstrong explained in The United States and Britain in Prophecy that the English-speaking peoples descended from the Israelite tribes of Manasseh and Ephraim. This means the Bible’s end-time prophecies about Israel are directed at the Americans and the British.

One such prophecy is in Hosea. “Ephraim allows himself to be mixed up with foreigners; Ephraim has become a cake unturned as it was baked. Foreigners eat away his strength, unknown to him; grey hairs are on him here and there, unknown to him. Israel’s pride shall confront and convict them; yet they will not come back to the Eternal their God, nor seek him, in spite of it all. Ephraim is like a silly, senseless dove, crying to Egypt, flying to Assyria; but as they fly, I fling my net on them, and bring them down like a bird, punishing them for their misdeeds” (Hosea 7:8-12; Moffatt translation).

America and Britain are mixing with foreigners, many of whom have no intention of adopting their laws or assimilating into their culture. Instead, many bring crime, drugs and dangerous ideologies.
