The Left Is Using the Capitol Hill Violence as a Pretext to Amass More Power

00:30 Perspective (9 minutes)

The violence surrounding the January 6 protest at the U.S. Capitol shocked the nation and those who broke the law should be held accountable. But this was certainly not an armed insurrection or attempted coup, as many pundits are saying on TV. Why is this protest, hijacked by a handful of rabble-rousers, being exaggerated and sensationalized after months of downplaying and even ignoring the mass rioting that swept across American cities last year?

10:00 Peaceful Protests (22 minutes)

In a statement yesterday, Michelle Obama contrasted what she viewed as the violent, organized coup attempt on the Capitol on January 6 to the “overwhelmingly peaceful” Black Lives Matter movement that occurred over the summer of 2020. The former first lady has it exactly backward.

32:00 The Coup Is Almost Complete (10 minutes)

Michelle Obama went to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to complain that President Donald Trump should be silenced. Why is she going to a company to silence the president? It tells you how much power the tech giants have. Meanwhile, Nancy Pelosi says she will introduce articles of impeachment against President Trump if his own cabinet doesn’t invoke the 25th Amendment to remove him from office. With only 12 days until the inauguration, why are Democrats so desperate to remove Donald Trump a few days early?

42:00 Trump’s Final Days? (13 minutes)

President Trump said last night that the lawbreakers who invaded Capitol Hill on Wednesday afternoon “will pay” for their actions. Mr. Trump also said that there will be a peaceful transition of power on January 20 of this year. He concluded his remarks by telling his supporters that the movement he started is only just beginning.
