Field of Hope

Eighteen years ago today, 25 people met on an empty field in rural Oklahoma. There was no real entrance to the field; there were no roads or buildings. Shortly after visiting that empty field, my father wrote that he planned to start a college. Today, this land is a thriving campus with dozens of buildings including a television studio, a state-of-the-art performing arts center, offices, dormitories, classrooms and more. It took vision to see what that empty field could become. On today’s radio show, I talk about the history of our campus in Edmond, Oklahoma, and how God performed miracles to enable us to raise up the ruins.
