After the beheading of a Catholic priest by radical Islamists in France, Pope Francis admitted that the “world is at war.” “When I speak of war I speak of wars over interests, money, resources, not religion. All religions want peace; it’s the others who want war,” he said. But in reality, religion is what’s driving the violence we’re witnessing today.
