Saudi-Led Airstrikes Kill 45 in Sanaa

Forty-five people died in Saudi-led airstrikes targeting the Houthi-controlled headquarters of Yemen’s armed forces in Sanaa.

The strikes carried out Sunday killed 20 civilians, 25 rebel soldiers, and wounded over 100. More than 2,000 people have died since fighting between Saudi-led forces and the Houthi rebel group broke out late last March.

The Houthi rebels and Yemen’s exiled government have agreed to attend UN-brokered peace talks in Geneva on June 14.
