August starts with strong TD response

After 14 weeks and 70 programs, we are really starting to collect some helpful data for The Trumpet Daily. The last two weeks, in particular, have been amazing. Last week, we received 430 telephone calls for the week, which beat our previous best week by about 15 percent. Then, this week, it looks like we will finish with about 460 calls—another 7 percent jump. Prior to August, we were averaging about 300-350 calls per week. So to get that big of a jump during the dog days of summer is awesome.

Another revealing statistic is that out of our top six programs, in terms of telephone response, four of them have played in August. And two of those August boomers, “Are We Living in the Last Days?” and “Beware False Conversion,” were TD repeats that played earlier this summer. The “Last Days” program originally aired on May 24 and brought in 57 calls. When it played again yesterday, it brought in 112 calls—nearly twice the number the original program generated.

Of course, these stats reflect phone calls only. Next week, we will try to crunch a few of the website numbers for you.
