Germany to arm its spies?

Germany’s legislature is considering a bill that would allow spies in its federal intelligence service, the bnd, potentially to use lethal force if necessary, Bild reported yesterday. The agency is currently prohibited from policing, conducting raids and arrests, or engaging in sabotage or assassination.
